Okay, so I have had a spot on my shaft for a few weeks but whenever I tried to pop it, a tiny amount of puss would come out, not from the head of the spot, but below the spot, on unblemished skin. I thought this was odd but I left it alone to heal.

Today I got back into P.E. I had done some SizeGenetics and some Uncle Jim Strapping and I had a raging erection ready for my Bathmate session. I quickly checked the spot and It looked much smaller and the redness was almost gone... After the Bathmate it was the worst it's been.

As you can see by the picture the spot is in the middle, but i now have this dark blue line that traces the head of the spot to the small hole where the puss escaped from whenever I tried squeezing. The line is much darker in person than in the picture. Overall the area is red and ugly.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with this now other than lay off the Bathmate?

Go see a doctor, you may have an infection. It almost sounds ulcerated.
Go see your doctor.

Got an appointment tomorrow for another reason, which is lucky as I can just ask about that too. Thanks Max. The deep blue line, is raised, almost like it's a vein thats been sucked up and is outside the skin.

Like a white head has formed and looks sore. I would not use the Bathmate or anyother pump until that heals as it will just draw in fluid around the area and perhaps make it worse. Keep it clean and apply some sort of healing cream to it. Savlon is a good cream to use if your in the UK.

Already got the Savlon on it mate :)

If the "wound" and/or the blue line are generating heat, that's an almost sure sign of infection.

This is also a common problem with vacuum-based injuries. They heal superficially, but are still subcutaneously healing. Once the vacuum is re-introduced it "explodes".

In my experience you have to let it heal for a couple of months at a minimum. Long after the superficial part has healed. Otherwise, you can cause a chronic injury which can lead to scarring.

Just pumping or everything?

Some vacuum-based injuries are deep tissue injuries. This tissue does not heal with the speed and tenacity of skin. Skin is somewhat designed to heal quickly. If you've ever had a dog bite you know the compression injury remains long after the teeth marks have healed. This is a similar situation. If you can catch it early enough you can try placing sports tape completely over and around the spot. But once it occurs it's best to let it heal for at least 6 or better, 12 weeks.

Odd enough, the only spot I have that has remained came from my early days of jelqing. I did not use vacuum products until much later. I also like your explanation of iron causing discoloration, makes awesome sense an has inspired new work in me.

It wasn't vacuum based initially. It was just a spot and i guess the break in the skin, combined with the increased engorgement of my penis just caused whatever this is. Although swelling and redness has gone down significantly since this morning.

Generally speaking, when you have a break in the skin and place it under vacuum or pressure you are losing the benefit of the tension skin provides to all the layers underneath.

Interstitial fluids, lymph and so forth "pile up" to provide somewhat of a barrier to deeper tissues unaccustomed to such direct strains.

That's pretty cool. You could design your own P.E. equipment!

Thanks very much though, you have been very helpful.

The spot itself seems to have gone now but it looks like it will scar. I can tell I'll be using a lot of Bio-Oil in the upcoming months. :(

Funny you should say that, I have been working on something for the past couple of years. But you know how spare time is...
