DESPERATE! Need Help from a Experienced Search Engine Ranking Guys!

We have always ranked very well in GOOGLE under the phrase "Penis EnlargementNIS ENLARGEMENT". We have been as low as 17 and as high as 49 but we have never fluctuated from these positions. We recently have dropped bigtime and it could really hurt us. I can not afford to higher an SEO company nor do I know how to change this issue. I do post fresh content daily to the MOS BLOG and it is very rich, relevant text every day. I write at least 1000 words on every topic under the penis enlargement realm. This drop is serious and if anyone can help please let me know.

I am also wondering if the BLOG is getting ranked by itself and the info I write never gets ranked under the main site. The reason I say this is because we rank number 1 in "Penis Enlargement Blog" but the main site gets terrible placement. It really makes no sense. If this is the case then the main site has not been updated with new text for a long time.

I also know that incoming, relevant links are important. I am going to write a letter to send to all of the higher ranking sites to exchange links. I think some will want to do this as I have allot of very good articles on penis enlargement. There are more than 500 articles I have written and I would be willing to allow them to use these articles on their sites as long as we get a link back to MOS.

Just brainstorming. Threak and 11x17, I appreciate your help and anything else you can come up with. I am also sure that with the more than 100,000 members we have on the free forum there has got to be some SEO people...I hope anyway.

Getting us into the top 10 under google will really allow us to make some very significant changes to benefit the site. We are ranking at 110 now, down from 24 last week! It is crazy. I am terrible with web shit and I know some of you guys are awesome with it.

When i do a google for beginner terms of Penis Enlargement, like uli, jelq, etc, i get lots of other mostly BS resources on the matter, try uli and youll see it has nothing to do with Penis Enlargement. I would try popping a few of those in the tag as well as adding content in order to get some more rank. I will hit my web developers up to see what they suggest on how to move up within google.

quick thought, another tag in in meta would be "penis enlargement system" as it is advertised on the main page in the first 2 paragraphs

Keep it coming guys! I am working overtime, and I will until we get this right. I have already benefitted from the posts you have made and I am currently studying as much of this as I can. I hope some of you can do the same. Y'all are on to it.

The main site and the blog should be different parts of the same domain, and/or constantly refer links out to each other.

Don't move the one that's super more popular. If you try to fold them together, make the lesser popular part of the one that's already super popular. (If there's any conflict between the types of coding that the two sites use, then maybe you'd have to keep them on discrete servers and interlinking articles and posts is the most that could be done... but make sure and do the most possible.)

Also if any members here go to other Penis Enlargement sites, ... while you're there ... drop links at -those- places back to MOS. (!!!)

It seems like people from this board go to other boards, come back, and drop links -here- referring to the other sites. That's the worst thing to do. You're increasing their page rank and using your own viewership to do so.

*Stop posting links to other people's boards .... do an extensive -quote- of the subject matter instead.

Those other boards are member sites anyway. Anyone clicking a link for them posted here will tend to add to their page rank, ...

and once there, if you want to read the dumbass article or thread, you still have to join the other Penis Enlargement board to do so. Then maybe the people just go to that board rather than this one. Stop that!

Several years ago, I nearly got into online business that would have required me to care a lot about SEO, so I have some vague memories from the research bank that I'll try to dust off ... but I really can't make this the mission that it must be for you. I'm concerned for you, but maybe moreso empathetic of your current plight with calm optimism for the outcome because I'm also quite sure that the knowledge is there for you to be #1 ranked as long as you can find it.

This is what I would do for a start towards a fast fix:

"charm and barter" with "gurus" .... or people who have proven to get the best results .... just like you want people to find you for penis results.

If I were you, I would see how far "charm and barter" would get me with as many "gurus" as seemed necessary until I was #1 for my most competitive keywords.

Well instead of trying to rank high, why not take advantage of your affiliate program ( which you're DEFINITELY not doing enough work with ) and partner up with the many sites related to penis enlargement out there.

I myself am have started a penis enlargement site, if you want, I could put up your 500 articles on the site. With a link back to your site for each one of them using different terms for the anchors of the link. Because I'm looking for content. And I have high rankings for high traffic keywords in the industry and planning a big paid advertising campaign as the money I make grows.

As far as SEO goes, my strategy is the "cast a wide net" strategy. Put as much content out there as I possibly can and hit the longtail keywords. I don't care about SEO. It changes too much for me, so I just concentrate on putting quality content out there and focusing on other means of traffic. If I get SE traffic ( which I am ), then good stuff.

OK, let me first say THANK YOU for all you help and research and I think this effort we are making should be continuous and ongoing. Since things change constantly with search engines we need to be on top of all the changes that are happening and adhere to them. I want to respond to each of the suggestions and I will this evening but I wanted to first post the information I have found important and see what you guys think. I made this list of changes that I have asked JAZ to implement and so far these are the things I have found wrong with the MOS site (thanks to you guys.)

Here is a list of 13 things I have researched and I think we need to change or imply.


1.) OUR LINKS PAGE: PLEASE CHECK THESE LINKS TO BE SURE NON ARE BAD OR 404. Eliminate the links that I have followed with remove. These links are effecting our ranking due to their insignificance to our key phrase goals.

2.) There should be Less than 100 links out total. We currently have many more than this. (over 1000 most irrelevant or 404)

3.) IMPORTANT!!! The links for the BLOG and FORUM are not valid! This means we are not being crawled for the search phrase "penis enlargement" under the 2 most important parts of our site. If this is true than we, according to the search engines, have not updated our site in 5 years! This would explain our #1 ranking under Penis ENlargement Blog and our poor ranking under "penis ENlargement" for the main site..

4.) The site map that points to the important parts of the site is larger than 100 or so links, we need to break the site map into separate pages. We are penalized for any site map that is more than 100 links. Each page of links should not exceed 100!

5.) The length of our meta tag is not optimized. Even if there is no such thing as the "perfect meta tag", it is suggested to use a short but effective page title (not longer than 150 chars.), one to max 10 keywords (do you really think that the same page can rank well for a long list of different words?) and a comprehensive description that emphasizes the title.


6.) gov sites seem to be the highest status?.edu sites seem to be given a high status?.org sites seem to be given a high status?.com sites excel in encompassing all the spam/ crud sites, resulting in the need for the highest scrutiny/ action by Google.

The new url's I gave you may be important to buy under the previous extensions, as well as the .com extension.

7.) Freshness of pages. Google likes to see a site with changing, fresh versions of the existing pages. Simple design or text changes could mean a better ranking.

8.) Link freshness. Adding new links and devolving old, irrelevant or non-existant links, may also help avoid SPAM penalization.

9.) Frequent updates = frequent spidering = newer cache

10.) WHITE PAGES rank better than COLOR PAGES

11.) Newer pages on an older site will get faster recognition.

12.) Listing in http://search.looksmart.com/ is a good move

13.) SIte size is not too important. 1000's of pages may get us penalized. Google would rather see less pages with more relevance to Penis Enlargement.

14.) The amount a relevant page is clicked is very important! This is why we should have clear, accessible links to the relevant Penis Enlargement pages on our site. CUrrently the articles we have, which number in the 100's, are buried and inaccessible to the general public without extensive searching. The links for these articles should appear on the front page of the Forum, site and BLOG.

15.) It is vital that we register our site for 5 or more years. Google sees 1 year registrations as a spamming site. The longer the domain purchased registration the more serious google will see us.

Please add to this list or correct anything that I may have misinterpreted. Me alone, doing research, is great and it may make a difference but having many of us striving towards the same goal will put us at the top, where we belong.

Hate to be a bother DLD, but I was wondering if it would be possible for me to use your articles on my site? With a link back of course with whatever anchor you like, or many different anchors depending on the article.
