DESPERATE! Need Help from a Experienced Search Engine Ranking Guys!

Just getting back to this thread and I will answer all the current posts. Keep it going and I appreciate all the support.

Wow guys, we went back up to number 20 in Google for about 1 week now we have dropped to 550???? What the fuck is going on, this could kill our site.

You must be doing something wrong.

Maybe the forum change has something to do with the latest down trend?

Thought about that but not sure that made a difference. What did happen, 1 to 2 days previous to the current drop, is we made adjustments to the MOS Blog. Since the BLOG has been up (about 2 years) we have never had archives that were readable in normal html. If you clicked an archive you would be brought to the correct page, that had the correct text, but it was in code. When we recently tried to fix this something happened that may have fucked us up. FOr about 2 days, whenever you clicked an archive you would be brought to a BLANK PAGE. To the search engines nothing is a bigger infraction than dead links. If we were crawled during the 2 days the BLOG was like this, it could have penalized us big time. We fixed the problem immediately after seeing the Google drop and the archives are now completely accessible (text and format). I am hoping that when we are crawled again, the spiders see these pages again and bring us back to our previous position (between 17 and 25) Today we are still at 560 I hope that Google leaves room for a temporary error like we made. If not, well it is a long, long climb to get back. Keep your fingers crossed.
