Design Addition To The LengthMaster (a mechanical engineers perspective)

Some of the videos do not work because they were uploaded before our server was finished. Most have been re-uploaded but a fews have not. Since ADF was banned we have no way of uploading his work.
 
Well since we're discussing design additions to the LengthMaster and I don't see anywhere else to post this I'll put it here....

I think there needs to be Teflon (or similar material) "sleeves" in all the drilled holes. Sometimes the threads catch the wood and makes it hard to separate the pieces. It would make it faster and easier to unclamp as long as the ends are smoothed and rounded, almost flared on the ends.

Just a new user's opinion. In leiu of that I may try to find some bolts that don't have threads on the nut end for about 1.5" but it might be a challenge to find the exact right ones. They need that square to catch properly or else I'll need wrenches to clamp in :O
