Will straightening a curved penis make it longer/bigger?

Hi I have an upward curved penis( it's not a significant curved but it's more than slightly curved) & I'm trying to straighten it cause I want a bigger/longer penis. My penis is 5.5 inches ( I measure along the curve with a flexible measuring tape). So one day I tried measuring it with a straight ruler by pressing my dick on the table to straighten it then measure it and guess what my dick still measured 5.5 inches!? I thought by straightening my dick I would gain 0.25 or 0.5 inches I was expecting my dick would be 5.75 inches or 6 inches but if I was to straighten it it would still be the same size? So I realised that straightening my dick wont make it longer ( it would appear longer if I look in the mirror from the side). Maybe it's cause my dick is slightly curved only. Someone with a significant curve would gain 0.25 or 0.5 inches by straightening it?
 
That's weird. Maybe from you're perspective you think it's dramatic and that it didn't change but hard to say. Take pictures of both if possible. If not measure Bone pressed if you haven't already.

Yeah but that's for those who have a significant curve like a 45 degree angle or for those who have peyronie's. I don't have peyronie's. My penis is only slightly curved upwards so I think if I was to straighten it I'd gain a 1/4 of an inch but defo not 1/2 inch (0.5 inch). So by striaghtening it it wouldn't make a big difference would it?

Btw I've read through lots of threads including the ones in the Peyronies section & I dont think there is ANYONE who has managed to straighten their curved penis through PE?

I always measure NBPEL imo it's more accurate. Measuring BPEL feels like cheating. I could take pics & if my dick was straight it would look longer looking from the side but in reality it wouldn't measure any longer it would just "appear" slightly longer

Doesn't make sense to say NPBEL is more accurate. If you measure BPEL you take your fat pad fluctuation out of the equation. Fat pad can fluctuate as much as your weight fluctuates through weeks/days. BPEL will hit a consistent wall

Measuring bpel can show u a more accurate measurement...yeah the fat pad can fluctuate and we could get slight changes when measuring.

NPBEL is not trustworthy by any means
 
No. If you only straighten without putting effort in to gaining length there will be no difference. A curved penis should always be measured with a tailors tape for length so the curve is accounted for. Now, with putting special efforts into PE exercises geared toward gaining length will also help straighten your penis, especially doing erect work against the curve.

What do you mean by "erect work against the curve"?? You said it yourself. You measured your penis with an flexible measuring tape, which means that you take the curve into the count.
Then, if you measure with a straight ruler and straighten your penis ofcourse it will be equally long. Because you measured the curve length in both measurements. The only difference is your penis is curved in one of the measurements,
and straightened in the other.

Making your penis straight will not make it longer, only more straight. A straight penis usually looks longer than a curved one.

If you measure correctly the measurement shouldn't change as you've described. Some people say they're longer when they straighten out their dick and that's only because they haven't measured with a tape to go along with the curve.
