I seen a post by you in another thread where you mentioned going up on your time and reps. Do you think that would also apply to the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]BM[/words] or would this cause a problem with FR. I have not had any problem with it over the last 3 months and have wondered if I could up my time in the tube. I have done 6 or 7 minute sets a few times and did not have any problem so I am wondering if I should be doing that every session.
that's an incredible question man, and it's very important for me to answer and for us to talk about moving forward in the PE world.
to put it simply, i think the body adapts to what we do quite quickly. not saying in one day u will grow mega inches, but u would be surprised how much the mind and body can learn from a single session. small steps add up quickly if frequency, intensity, focus and technique are executed. i can attest to this based on how deep I went into Kegels, [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]BM[/words], and jelqing. I can say i've become an expert in them, maybe not a master yet, but on my way.
think of it like a bodybuilder. say he creates a basic program for himself that consists of 5 exercises, 2 sets of each and maximum reps. Let's say he initially he struggles and can barely do any reps due to low strength. Next week let's say he's able to perform 6 reps on the tougher exercises. 3rd week he can do 8. 4th week 10, and so on.
By this time he has made his newbie gains and his body has adapted to what he has done to that point. Where does he go from here? Let's say so far his max rep ability on the hard exercises is 10, and he continues to perform up to 10 only for the following two months. Will he make any more gains? No because at this point he is just maintaining what he initially gained. So for him to continue to gain, SOMETHING has to change. What exactly changes depends on what he will do from whether it's information, intuition, or what have you.
That doesn't mean EVERY aspect needs to be changed but there has to be some change for there to be any change in gains. It could be as simple as him continuing to push his maximum rep to 11, 12, 13, etc. Or he could increase the set amount, or he can increase both sets AND reps. Or he can change his strategy from circuit training to supersetting.
He can also add additional exercises, but when it comes to that, adding in too much at once in my opinion is no good because u want to make sure u learn the 1 or a few things WELL instead of learning nothing from a lot.
I mean the possibilities are endless man, but that's how you gain. Even if u read something new about PE that's already a mental gain. Sometimes u will also fail or get bad info, so it's also up to u to analyze the situation and question everything. I for instance select certain exercises that make sense, and at the gym for instance I'm always careful of my lower back and I don't use weights I can't control effectively based on the muscles I'm training(although bodyweight is a bit different). So we just have to build our understanding for all these unlimited interconnected areas.
