I just started doing kegels and I wanted to know how long would it be before I can kegel while I have an erect penis because I heard that's how you prevent yourself from ejaculating
 
I hope I am understanding your question correctly, but you can kegel while erect as well as flaccid. You don't have to wait.

Reverse kegel just before you cum and it will prohibit the ejaculation process.

Research the term "reverse kegel".
