Not at all, it is the original girth exercise handed down from generation to generation. Is it the most powerful exercise? No, but it is a great foundational exercise. Most men will start with the jelq and soon move into something more intense.

is it only for girth? or can it assist in length? I started doing 300-500 wet jelqs after my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] stretch sessions

I would say more inches have been gained with the jelq than anything else! Like dld said not the most intense but still good. It is mostly a girth exercise but I feel like it can also help with length

It expands the tunicia in all directions so you will gain length as well.

Jelqing is proven as an effective exercise with members even gaining over an inch in girth within 6 months. If anything, i would say that most people need to increase the number of jelqs.

Its not overrated, if anything its underrated and left on the top shelf gathering dust in favor of more exotic named but less proven methods.
To this day I still use the wet jelq, albeit clamped this exercise is very potent at not just gains in both length & girth but overall health for the penis.

My technique is more like a dry jelq. My hand does not slide over the skin but bunches it up. Still the jelq in general is great. Some variations like the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-forum/12539-slow-squash-jelq-nothing-give-me-better-expansion.html]slow squash jelq[/words] are good to. It feels better to me to apply pressure with one hand on the head. My point is the basic principle of the jelq is what we need to maintain... weather it is clamped or wet or dry...its the basic concept that is key
