So I've gotten well into my girth routine after all the great info you guys posted in my last thread but there is one thing I am very unsure about and that is kegels. I know how to do kegels but I simply dont know how much is good and how much would be too much. I have searched and found many different answers. Some saying that doing kegels once every other day is the right way as you wont over train. Others say 100 kegels daily is best. And then there is the do as many as you can and do thousands every day answer.

So with all the conflicting information I'm just not sure. Will several thousand kegels a day be too much and I should go easy or will more always be better? What are you're thoughts on kegel volume?

I think like any other muscle in the body, the PC muscles should be trained as such - in sets, until you can feel that you've exhausted the muscle. A day for recovery always is good, then back at it. I personally am pretty undisciplined when it comes to doing specifically PC exercises, so treating them like any other muscle in the body while I'm working out has given me some motivation to do them more often, and the results are showing. Check out the DLD [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]newbie routine[/words], and look at the kegal exercise listed on there. That's a pretty good one to start with if you're starting, but if you feel like the 100 1-second kegals arent enough, try 100 2-second ones, then act them as sets.

100 1- seconds
100 2-seconds
50 4-seconds
and if you can
2 1-minutes.

That should be pretty exhausting for anyone, but if you feel like you can do more, then do more.
I think what gets missed more often is doing proper kegals. Often I'll see people doing bicep exercises with the dumbell, but they engage their upper arm to help them finish the motion, thus letting stress off the bicep alone. We don't want to do that. Figure out where your PC muscles are exactly, and get very knowledgeable about how to target exactly them, and not your butt at the same time, or your lower core, or any other part of the surrounding muscle. That wont help you, and if anything, it'll tire you out before you actually finish tiring out your PC muscles.

Cheers.

Excellent Answer!

And to those who do not know how to do a Kegel/Reverse Kegel here is the directions:

A Kegel can be found by when you are urinating you stop the flow of urine midstream, the muscle movement is a Kegel. A Reverse Kegel is when you push the flow of urine. Of course you do not need to be peeing to do these exercises.

Thanks for the answers. How much volume of reverse kegels should I do compared to kegels?

Reverse Kegel are really only needed when used in stretching, as in DLD Blasters and for sexual reasons to prevent premature ejaculation. Put most work into Kegels and maybe 1/4 of that time spend on Revere Kegels.
