has anyone gained 3 inches?
Lots of people have gained 3". Not many people take pictures when they start, unless they're already big. And people who are already big hardly ever have enough motivation to get big gains.
Check out Mandingo if you want proof of a 3" gain. He's about 2-3" longer than he was a few years ago. There aren't ruler shots, but it's still pretty clear from his films.

I was recently reading a thread at Thunder's stipulating that Lex Steele had performed Penis Enlargement due strange markings on and around his glans, which, according to the author of the thread, were unarguably caused by using a ruddy hanger with heavy weights. Additionally, Lex is quoted as saying that he gained five inches in erect length throughout his college years (naturally, he insists).

These gains have happened, but it is true, pictures and video are hard to come by. I think this has allot more to do with peoples fear of putting their pictures online than anything else. It is hard to even take pictures of your penis, let alone show them to the world.

When I started P.E., the notion of posting my pics never occurred to me, certainly not measured ones. It took me a year to figure out how to get a decent pic, upload it and post it. Who knew?
I should still have the old phone that I took my starting pics on. However, I was 16 when I started.
