with stretching it seems like the 30second pull would be equal to 50lb or so of weight.

has anyone ever hung with super heavy weight in short intervals like 30sec hang/ 1 minute rest/ repeat?

You should check Dashdeming's hardcore hanging in the main hanging section, its stuck at the top. 20 minutes of heavy intense hanging has given him great length gains.

I see what your thinking with the heavy hang for say 1 minute or so than rest and repeat, I actually think it has a very good potential to work well and when I finally get around to hanging with the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]Length Master[/words], this theory will be put into practice. Its like the HIT principles or static contraction principles of weight training, which all work great. You target the area with the most intensity for a short duration to failure and than the set is terminated.

I don't think very heavy weights like 70lbs would even be needed, but depending on experience etc I would say that 30lbs would be enough for a very hard intense hang going on for 5 minutes and hitting failure, needing to take the hanger off ... when I say failure I'm referring to your ligaments being burnt and shot, so you cant hang any longer.

One would need to fire off plenty reverse kegels aswell to really attack the zone. Even swinging the body from front to back with the weights hanging helps increase intensity if you cant use such a heavy weight, because that movement is actually stretching the penis out from the gravity.

Heavy hanging has its merits but you MUST be conditioned for it. You will cause serious damage by not working up to such weight.

On the other hand (no pun intended), you could use your hands and pull with all you're worth. Same effect, but you just can't hold it for 10 to 25 minutes. BUT, you could cycle it: soft tissue responds to cycle-stretch. Think of bouncing to touch your toes. Relentless cycle-stretching can work just as well as heavy hanging as long as you use enough force.

No gains but I only hung for a short period. I hung using the Bib and teh [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]LengthMaster[/words] and it came down to wrapping on both as far as comfort goes.

Holy shit DLD. You use to hang with 70 pounds. Do you think you would have made any gains if you continued to hang with that weight for a couple of months to a year?

.

Exactly.. like Mentzer and Yates training style.. go beyond failure. ;)

WTF? At the moment I fail on 3,75kg and that is like 10lbs.

That is fine. 10 pounds is a lot of weight. Don't judge your weight by others, gage it by your gains.

DLD has it right on...... Heavy has it's place but you have to work up to it and it has to be done effectively. In other words, heavy hanging is really mostly effective for length primarily from the ligs. This is because as the weight goes up most tend to move the hanger further back because the head and tunica really take a beating otherwise. So, as DLD says, 10 pounds can be a lot of weight. It all depends on where you are in conditioning and the METHOD YOU USE. I have been using a fulcrum as of late and my weights are in the 16 pound range for that and, when set up properly, that is a lot of weight going fulcrum style. Dig?
