There's actually some controversy about the neck-stretching of tribes in Africa. Seems that they're not stretching their necks (which would require an elongation of the cervical vertebrae) but rather compressing their chest cavities and pushing their clavicles down. Either way, it's extreme body manipulation and with structures much more resistant than the structures in the penis.
