I had no trouble with these but tonight the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]newbie routine[/words] advises doing 600 wet jelqs per session. After this I had a large amount of fluid build up on my foreskin. When the foreskin is over the glans and you look at the tip it looks like I've got an inflatable ring on the end! >:(

What do you more experienced guys suggest? Do I lower the number of jelqs to maybe 450 for a couple of weeks or is this something that happens and just to put up with it. It doesn't hurt but I haven't had it before so not sure what to do.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Going from 300 to 600 reps in one jump is the cause. As a beginner, I would suggest that you try to increase your rep load by only a few per workout.

As for the swelling, extended hot wraps and massage will help alleviate your condition. You may even try soaking your penis in a warm bath with dissolved epsom salts.
 
Thanks for the reply Big Al. I only increased the jelqs to 600 from 300 because that's what it states in DLD's [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]Newbie Routine[/words].

I think I will do as you have advised and increase the quantity gradually. What do you think should be the total number of jelqs I should work up to?

By the way, the swelling had disappeared by the time I woke up this morning.
 
I wonder if the build up is similar to people who use Pumps...ever seen them pics?They pump so much they get so fat with fluid.I use a pump at times and never had a serious fluid build up yet,but wondering if the results were similar to excess pumping.

I know what you mean about pumpers fluid build up. Yes it did look a little like that but it wasn't as extensive as they get, only the very tip of my foreskin was affected but it was pretty big. It looked f*cking stupid aswell. rofl

Hey I get the exact same build up when I jelq now, and I never used to. I am cut, but after a jelqing session I get this fluid build up around my head, my dick feels 10lbs heavier, and my hand won't even wrap all the way around it when I'm done, doesn't hurt at all as well, and then it goes back to normal after 4 hours or so, sometimes more, not sure why... I think it might be due to the fact that when I jelq, I keep a pretty tight grip all the way down, and I do 8-10 second jelq strokes, and when I reach my head, I take my other hand and have to pull my dick through the tight grip. Who knows...
 
Just a quick update.

I only did 350 jelqs tonight instead of jumping straight from 300 to 600 and I didn't get any fluid build up. I also grip fairly tightly so I would say it's a case of increasing reps slowly over time.
