I broke my ruler ages ago, when I was inventing DLD Blasters. I remember the break and I ripped my frenulum...OUCH! In the end the pain was worth it, DLD Blasters brought so much length to so many.
lol you know, i totally can understand that obsession with measuring DLD talked about a while ago(in one of the newbie threads).
i want to make sure i get the absolute MAX reading each time i measure, to take any measurement variation out of the equation. and to know for sure if i've gained or not.
this all goes hand-in-hand with tracking my progress with my routines and narrowing down exactly what works for me and what doesn't. i can't imagine not measuring after a session like some guys do here. anyways, walgreens sells wooden rulers for $0.99 so i restocked yesterday. lol
I do the same thing Stretch. I like measuring everyday or every other day to make sure my measurements are staying the same or slightly gaining. Measuring is a very important aspect of p.e. and should be applied after each session. If you wait months to measure, you might find out you didn't even gain and wasted your time when you could have switched up your routine and made better gains. I can't imagine going weeks or a month without measuring.

totally agree. often times for me + or - 5 minutes of an exercise or adding a different stretch and takin one away will mean the difference of gaining or not gaining.

Watching gains any other way daily would be silly, this method will show you what you need to know about if your routine is working or if it needs adjusting.
