Why does turtling happen?

Your penis wants to protect itself when it's not needed (a natural function). Also cold weather will make your penis turteling to keep the tissue near the body and warm.

I have realized that my penis is more vulnerable now, when it's bigger.

growers have this problem more, my penis can be like bellow 1 inch when turtles, in the past was worst (like 1/2 inch), so in my early 20s i avoided most of it be let the head out of the foreskin proposedly, hurted a bit in beggining but head lost sensitivity eventually, but when i let foreskin go cover head turtles to like a inch, i wasnt doing any pe stuff at the time, just decided to such to see. I also recommend 15 minutes of MOSRED before getting your penis into elongation healing mode (after a session). In that way you increase collagen production and reducing healing time, and you also reduce the retraction your penis are doing.
