Powerlifting is hell on the body over the long haul. Believe it or not, pro wrestling is also very hard on the body and mind. I know, most people see it as a "gimmick" because it is in FACT mostly scripted out and rehearsed before it is recorded, ...and all the flash and glam, BUT the action in the ring is still 100%. Sure, the slaps and "punches" are usually more of a glancing blow rather than direct hits, but still. The rate of concussions and head&neck related injuries is right up there with other contact sports like rugby, or football.
