Scientists discover just IMAGINING exercising can make you stronger | Daily Mail Online

How does this pertain to pe? According to the article you can at least tone your PC muscle by imagining kegels. But I have to kinda wonder what physiological reactions might take place imagining your routine, or an entirely different routine. Or if possibly imagining that pe can't work can make that a reality. Or that visualizing your goal might do more than offer encouragement to keep you going.

Thoughts?

Idk if this is real or not,but why spending time doing imaginary kegels and maybe get some results when you can do real kegels and get amazing results?

That's literally the single least interesting possibility that I listed. There's a LOT more to it than that.

it is partially true, thats why there is a subforum for "mental enlargement"
believing is the first step to achieving...
person A who trains hard but doesnt believe in what theyre doing VS person B who trains hard and believes in themselves
Person B gains more almost every time

true i think a positive state of mind is really important, thats something i have a hard time whit, everytime something goes in a different direction i had in mind, gets me stressed n i feel as if all of the work i did is useless.

its a very interesting process because the more we think n study how the PE process gets affected by our state of mind the more we can learn how to get the best out of it...

phisically n mentally both parts are important..IMHO:)

They used to tell me this when I went to the gym like five years ago, but you had to visualize the muscles contracting as you were doing the exercises. It definitely does help when you need to crunch out one more rep (not strength just endurance). And I always kegel/synapse when I'm training which does help a ton.

It applies in the same way as described in the article. Body and mind are connected.

Why on earth could you not do Kegels. Not enough attention I do them all the time with just a tiny bit of attention even super long tight squeezes like I am doing right now. Train your attention and it isn't that hard or distracting being in touch so near the ROOT of ones physical self!

I kegel hours a day. That's really not the point of the thread. That was the first example.

All things we create start with a thought. To give that thought fuel to create what we desire we need to rely on our imaginations. The fuel to accomplish what you desire is the ability to see it as real before it even arrives. This may seem like a strange practice as adults but if you really take the time to watch children use this technique in everything, their imagination is the center of their physical creation.

1. Ask for what you want
2. Pretend like you already have it and once you believe it....
3. Open the door and let it in

A large mind a larger Penis...

Or a better controlled mind, a better controlled penis :) control is what we mainly need, control gives us infinite power

Anybody who tryes to learn how to do a stranding backflip as an adult without any support can tell you that visualization is a must to complete very hard tasks

True dat! If you can not see it, you can not do it!

I've heard it so many times before and seeing it is the first step. You must see your goals. It's something you then push for constantly to make that vision true.

Its how i learned it i kept imagining it while i practiced it. And eventually i could just walk up 1 day and do it.

The other guys on the team kept asking how i learned it so fast. By the time i could do it i knew i could cause i had done it so many times in my head i could feel it.

Still can (warning dont do it while your drunk)

"To better understand how mental toughness can help someone run through a desert for seven days straight, complete 400 grueling reps in a mere 25 minutes, or win a half-Ironman triathlon with a broken foot (yes, really), we spoke to some of the toughest athletes on the planet and asked them to reflect on how they conceptualize, cultivate, and strategize for their mental game. Here's how they manage to withstand the most grueling circumstances—and win."
