I seem to recall reading in the past from the veteran experts that the ligament/tendon (whatever) recovery time after stretching (from 'long schlong'/'extender') exercises, is "virtually nil". In other words, you can hang/stretch (length exercises) much more frequently.

...as opposed to the girth exercises, which actually break down tissues (like muscle building - needs time to recover). That appears to be true in my experience, but just wanted to check and make sure I wasn't off the mark. And hopefully someone can elaborate a bit more on this.

Yea you are pretty close on that one there. I seem to only be able to work girth....and still get good results/expansion from girth work for a max of four days in a row before I need a day off. The tissues targeted during girthwork ....dont know how to explain it, but they just seem to need more time in between sessions vs. when hanging for example. Just using my own experience. Never been a big manual stretcher, so I cant really chime in on that end of things.

what kinda signs do you look for to tell you when to lay off the girth work besides lack of erections?

The main sign that I need a day off is no matter what I do, I just dont seem to get a good pump from my session.
