I wanna work on my chest, too. I wanted to know for pushups...is there really a routine I should follow or just do as many push ups as you can till it hurts each day? (somebody told me to do this but..eh..)

What kind of pushup routine should I follow for a a nice chest as quick as possible? I dont have any dumbells or any weights.

Well...All I can tell you is to push until failure in different position....you can do close arm pushups (diamond pushups) and work the tricepts and inner pecs, you can do regular pushups (tucked in works more of the triceps too), you can do wide arm pushups to work more of the chest area too...you could put your feet up to do incline push ups to work the upper pecs...Taking protein might help you build some muscle.

Yeah, pushups are very powerful exercise and like Juggers just said - so many variations that can work many areas.

I'm adding pushups into my new routine and they will look like this .....

Pushups - 4 sets of 15 [1st week] which will be a mixture of what Juggers has talked about.

On the second week it'll be 5 sets of 20, third week 5 sets of 25 and it will keep changeing and getting higher and higher.

If you just remember that your shoulders are the most versatile single joints in your whole damn body, you can get a real good pec workout just using push-ups. Think about it this way; stand up, arms length from and facing a wall. Now think about all the positions you could swing your arms to on that wall: the same applies to your push-ups. Arms close, wide, staggered, out of parallel, fingers pointing in any direction you can manage, up on your knuckles, or even fingertips. And don't just think about straight up and down; think about your head tracing patterns in the air and in more than one plane; circles, shapes, letters. And last but not least is tempo; slower reps will build tendon and ligament strength along with muscular development. Quicker reps improve speed and oxygen uptake function; if you're looking for hand speed and punching endurance, don't forget your shoulders, triceps etc. for this also. And last, but not least; slow-down, (4-6 seconds) and blast-up, (fast as you can, maybe even clap once or twice) builds explosive power. Vary the width of your feet, or just use one. Arch your back up, or even stick your butt up in the air (dive-bombers), to target the upper curve of your pecs. Get three chairs, one for the feet, and let your back droop to target the lower third of your pecs. Get creative, experiment and, most importantly; feel what works best for you, build up to one arm push-ups and build on success. Once you get REAL good think about doing push-ups/flys on the hanging rings or in a crossover rig.
Good luck !

Your best pushup routine for chest is :

WEIGHTED PUSHUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to your local sporting good store and buy some plates - pretty cheap
Throw them in a back pack and get down

It's a great workout!!!!!!!!!!
Yes you can build a big chest just by doing these given your eating right

If you currently have no weights and do not plan on buying any, remember that your body has weight (really it has mass and this whole gravity thing going on but that is another story). In order to increase the load, you can use chairs as mentioned earlier and let the chest dip between the front chairs. Or use one chair for feet and play around with hand placement. Next move on to a wall and work your feet higher and higher as you build strength. As you reach higher more stress is placed on the shoulderd/arms, but that is good too.
Also, I would recommend some pull-ups to develop the broad V shape that makes the upper body more developed.
Don't neglect the back. Since muscles work in pairs, you need to do things for the back as to not cause an imbalance.
