Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that's supposed to work for us so we accomplish goals in real life. Only masturbation, also taps into this reward system in the brain, and drains you if you overuse it.

Then: Why would the brain make you do anything I real life. It's the same with overusage of smartphone and social media. Your brain gets depleted. Have you seen people that can't take their eyes of the screen and they are stuck in the "doomscrolling". Negativity stimulates the brain really good, that's why people gets stuck in the negativity on social media and so on...

After you have "doomscrolled" you are depleted. You feel empty in your brain and you get so tired. I believe it's the same with to much masturbation and to much �naked people movies� watching.

You can recover from this, but if you do this all the time, I think you can get into a state where you do not want to do anything, or accomplish anything in real life.

I did an experiment of NoFap for 3 weeks. At the end of the last week I could not focus on anything, my energy was not focused, it was defused and I was really stressed out/anxiety. I also experienced my perception of women changed for the better, when I did not use �naked people movies� as a masturbation aid. But there was a time before this happened, where I was extremely present to the moment and super focused. So a balanced way of approaching masturbation is probably for the best.

I have also realized that when I do not masturbate my primal instincts come back as well. It can be bad in some situations. One time I just stared at a womans breasts for no reson at all, I could not stop it. So some masturbation in today's society is good, to not appear like a creep, if you have a tendency to become extremely horny.
