I see that both jelqing and pumping work on the same principle, essentially expanding the size of the corpus cavernosa. What are the advantages of one over another?

It seems to me it could be a matter of preference and not so much a matter of better or worse results, is one superior to the other as far as gains go? As far as saftey? As far as added benefits besides enlargement?

Does anybody recommend one but not the other?

I prefer pumping and have had good girth gains. Jelqing bored me and I quickly lost interest in doing it. But thats just my opinion. I believe i've read here that length gains come from jelqing where pumping mostly works for girth.

While I'm still new to jelqing (about 3 months), I've already noticed better, more lasting gains than I ever did pumping. And I was reasonably consistent with that for awhile. I also find jelqing a whole lot more convenient than pumping, which is a conclusive plus.

As always, and taking it back to some ancient Intrawebz-speak: YMMV.

Best of luck whatever you go with!

When i used to pump.. i did it in conjunction with jelqs. I would pump for 20 minute sets and do ~100 jelqs in between. The jelqs helped to move blood through the penis after each set and also helped to keep the donut effect to a minimum.

The bottom line is that there is no one way to do something... the more ways you work out your penis (to an extent), the better.
