I've heard that jelqing fast with a low % erection is good for length and slow jelqing with a hard erection is good for girth. Has anyone else heard this?
Hi, I jelq once a day up to 1000 reps and do it in a rytham at around 1 per 4 seconds and have an increace in lenght and girth with a noticabal ridge on the top of my shaft. it is a interesting how how good it feels. I work out at the gym and never have enjoyed the work out more!
I think the most important thing in jelqing is the intensity at which you do them not the speed. I always do mine at 100% erect and each jelq takes about 3 seconds. I do 500 per day. That gets me pretty pumped.
I have always enjoyed a relatively fast jelq because I think there is much less blood back flow when the stroke is intense and quick. I see each stroke as catching the blood of the last stroke before it has a chance to leave the penis. For me it just works better.

I'm currently doing about 500 2 second jelqs at a 50-75% erection. I might do them closer to 100% now though, before I was just worried jelqing on a full erection could cause vascular damage. Thanks for the advice
Fast jelqing at a low erection level is primarily a stretch. If you want to do jelqs at a high erection level, that is primarily a girth exercise. Just be careful, jelqs at a high erection level are not real safe for newbies. Personally, I like jelqs at a high erection level, but I have been doing this for awhile. Just trying to provide a word of caution.

Yeh thats what I thought, there is a high risk of thrombosis with full erection jelqs. Ive been jelqing for a few months and on and off since then so I think I should be ok along with a proper warm up.
