if its semi-erect how do i get it through the hole? my erect girth is around 5.5"

I pump semi-erect. If the hole is too small then you might want to get a bigger pump. Directions are pretty straightforward you stick and pump.

Yeah, if it is too small you will want to get a larger model. Too small would mean you are packing the tube and crowding the walls of the tube...the penis needs room to grow.

With a ''pump'' like that, it's questionable. You need a quality device with a GAUGE. A good pump can be had for about $150 total. Don't go for ''cheap'' or you get what you pay for. An Amazon.com special is junk. Look at LA Pump (cockpump.com), pumptoys (pumptoys.com), or Bostonpump (bostonpump.com) for good examples of quality pump tools made by reputable sellers. Each has been around for over 2 decades and have solid service and customer support.

This. Also look for non-plastic pumps. I started with the Kaplan Pump($80ish), and it was horrible. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THE KAPLAN PUMP AT ALL. I used it at 7G for three days and it broke. Which happens often from what I've read, after the fact. I tried emailing them and calling them and they would not replace it. They were kind of snobby about it.

I recently purchased a pump from LA pump and, so far, it has worked very well. I wish I purchased it before the crappy Kaplan.
