Whats the best way of loosing bodyfat?
You'st by eating less fat or are there other ways to help lose it?

Anything that helps promote the cardiovascular system I suppose. Cardio... like running or speed walking.

Speed walking? lol.

I run X-country and we do what some people call HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training. Which is excellent way to lose bodyfat.

It is running short/medium distance (200 to 400 - which is 1/2 - 1 lap on a track) at 80-90% with good rest in between.

One time in track (distance track, where I trained with milers and 2 milers, but I was a 200/400/800 guy) we did 20 x 400s. Actually only me and 2 other guys did. It was the max you could do. So we both got a nice reward :) Anyways, I lost so much weight the week following.

Another time I lost weight was when I ran a 5k invitational. 5k = 3.1 miles. Ran it in a slow ass 20:14 cuz I was out of shape, but I ran hard. I was 182 solid for 3 weeks prior and dropped to 180 the day after.

Yep, HIIT blows every other type of cardio outta the water in regards to quick fatloss with minimal muscle wasting. Too bad it's such a pain to perform, though.

YEa the HIIT rocks the house but make sure u burn more calories than you consume. Not drastically low calories but just maybe 200 or so below what you need

yes..HITT is great..I need to start up again in about 2 weeks after I bulk up a bit.

BODY-FOR-LIFE. I got on this in college and went from above average condition to totally ripped in the 12 week program time. I got tested for body fat in the IU atletic department and was tested at 5.1%. It was unreal, i looked EXACTLY like the guys on the cover of Mens Health. Plus, I got to eat (eating also included myoplex shakes) 6 times a day, so i was never hungry and my blood sugar was never out of wack and therefore never felt tired. One of the best parts was that there are two viens that run from the sides of your stomach to your unit. They were totally sexy and women commented on them all the time. Plus, i had no fat pad so my bpel was almost identical to my nbpel. My new years resolution is to get back on the diet and lose weight and increase dick. Good luck to anyone who gives it a try!

What are you all talking about!? Training is not as important as nutrition. The best way to lose body fat is to switch to a low-carb diet and stick with it. Cardio will make the process faster but you can't lose body fat if you eat a lot of carbs even if you do 1-2 hours of cardio EVERY DAY. The most important thing is to keep an eye on the calories you take from carbs and decrease those calories every week until you hit 100g a day for example.

would something like netball.. if you play centre be the equivelant of HIIT? ... bball as they are quick spirts... ?

this is what i did and im happy i did it, although im lazy as hell now. i need to get back into. whut id di was i started a fad diet. everyone tells me these things dont work because you gain it all back in the end. well i ahjven't. i did the fad diet thing for a while then i sarted doing mass amounts of cardio at the gym. always trying to push my self further each at my peak i was burnign about a 1000 calories a day. which is a lot, but well . so my metabolism was through the roof so ic an eat anything i want now and i dont gain anything. of course the fear of my fat coming back is there, but i won't let it get that far. to me i have always that cardio and weight lifting is the most important thing u can do. and nutrition second. im probably way wrong but eh, this is how i lose the fat.
peace

I agree with most of what has been said here.

You'll need to alter your diet greatly. Less carbs, LESS FAT. Don't buy food just because it says Low Carb. Make sure it is low in fat too! A lot of those Atkin's and Carb Conscious foods are very high in fat, and will not help you at all. Think about it...when you look at a large person, you dont say...

"Man, that guy is Carb!"

You say he's fat. And the best way to get rid of it is to reduce the supply of it to the body.

HIIT is a great way to lose weight, as many have mentioned here. However, it takes some degree of physical conditioning beforehand. So, if you are out of shape, my recommendation is to do light running or brisk walking for 30 - 60 mins, 4 - 5 times a week. Go at a challenging, but not utterly difficult pace. As things start to get easier for you start working harder and longer, until you feel ready for HIIT.
