Ok, I can understand the fact that people don't want to get hardcore BDSM thrown in their face but it seems like these types of comments are everywhere in this forum nowadays. I don't even get what people are so afraid of? Of my female friends, I don't think a single one would be bothered at all by lesbian adult entertainment, while straight guys almost always feel the need to overcompensate until the point where it just gets funny.

People, we are in a forum where we discuss penises, how to make them larger, we look at pictures of other members' erect dicks and instructional videos with people yanking their dicks. Frankly, it doesn't get much more homoerotic than that.
 
Frankly I don't consider learning proper jelqing techniqes through videos homoerotic, I don't see a correlation, I can only speak for myself I don't get sexually aroused by anything this site has to offer. I for one don't look at progress pics. I take their word for it.

i agree with bazookajoe...i've been up here for a long time and see a lot of pics of other members in the picture proof section and some instructional videos..and never once felt uncomfortable about viewing those..because i know what kind of context i'm looking at those videos and photos...now if someone posted pics of two guys stretching each other out or engaging in an act that i deem sexual it takes a new meaning and something i don't really care to see...i don't see this site as being erotic at all...it is more educational...well except the adult entertainment section...that is definetely erotic thanks to pandora rofl
 
Personally, I think the term homophobia is damn funny in and of itself. All ya gotta do is watch an episode or two of "Wiill & Grace" to discover that homo's ain't threatening in any way...just kinda silly, like most of the rest of humanity in general.

I'd say that in general this a fairly tolerant forum. In fact, long ago there was a thread where some guys were actually complaining about the fact that they were censored from criticizing some gay content which involved a guy repreatedly making sexual remarks about progress pictures.

In all honesty, I would have complained about that video if it featured straight pornography as well. When you're not expecting to see something of that nature, being surprised by anal fisting adult entertainment can be a pretty unpleasant experience. What I did find hilarious was the fact that the guy who posted the video claimed not to be aware of the rest of the content. Now that's a serious case of denial . . .

I'm as liberal as they come in terms of civil rights - I believe that gay couples should be allowed to marry, adopt children, and enjoy all the same privelages as heterosexual people, and I believe that homosexuality is a natural condition that carries no moral consequence. But, that doesn't mean that I like being suprised by extreme gay adult entertainment. I think many other guys would attest to the fact that there's an actual sense of physical revulsion when you see something like that and you're not prepared for it. That's what most of the commenters were complaining about, not the fact that the pornography was homosexual. It's just basic courtesy to warn people about something like that. The video was undobutedly some of the most extreme content I've ever seen, and I really don't appreciate that I wasn't warned.

Yes, I understand that you don't want to see it and that's nothing wrong with that. What I don't understand is why it such a big deal to people? (And NO, I'm not talking about the bdsm/piss thing) If I, as a gay dude, were to accidently watch lesbian adult entertainment I would just watch something else and get on with my life, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

Most straight guys I know, including myself, find seeing male gay stuff pretty revolting. It's just not natural. And since the vast majority of guys on here are straight then you are probably going to run into this kind of attitude quite a lot.

I think most guy here don't have a problem looking at penis' because that is the main topic of the board... what i have a problem with is someone asking me to look at a video of a large penis (which i have no qualms about because i can appreciate a large member and the work it takes to get one...), but when i'm not told that most of the video contains explicit gay adult entertainment... i have issue with that. I don't like gay adult entertainment just like i don't like fetish sex nor do i have any intentions of seeing any of it. My decision has nothing to do with homophobia... i just don't have an appreciation for gay adult entertainment plain and simple.
 
It just seems strange to me that with all the political correctness that if someone has a strong reaction against something they are touted as being wrong ect ect.

A reaction is a reaction just leave it at that. It should not strike anyone as strange that an activity that's done by only 1 or 2% of the population (not 10%) would evoke an emotional reaction from the other 98% who do not share that proclivity.

No one is advocating being mean to anyone, but anyone who basically demands acceptance for an activity like that is really asking too much.

But if you're asking us to treat you with love and respect well that's different and I don't think anyone would have a problem with that.

In Psych we learned that there is a medium between being gay and straight. Most of the poplulation is straight and on a scale of 1-10, 1 being completely straight and 10 being completly gay; most people are near 1 or 2 while even most gays are not completely gay being around 7 or 8. Another interesting thing was women are usually more open sexually. For instance most men like only straight and girl-on-girl adult entertainment and women will get aroused by straight and oddly enough girl-on-girl. The weird thing is that while most men classified as homophobic actually got a little aroused watching gay men adult entertainment but women; gay or straight; did not get turned on by gay men sex. Just something to ponder.

I'm straight and I'll agree a warning should be given to any video that contains any fetish or unusual sex act. Gay men have to realize that gay sex is an unusual sex act, but so is fisting, or watching a girl shit in a cup, then another girl and that same girl lick the shit, which soon after one throws up. All of those are unusual and potentially offensive to some and a warning would be nice so even if your still gonna watch it you can be prepared.

I'm familiar with the study you cite about the homophobic males actually becoming more sexually excited by sexual images of other men than the test subjects that didn't have strong homophobic feelings. I love to bring it up whenever I hear somebody spouting off about how vile and evil homosexuality is. Even if it doesn't apply to them personally, it will, at the very least, tend to shut them up.

So faras the assertion that nobody enjoys gay adult entertainment but gay men, I do believe that the comedian Margaret Cho is a well known female enthusiast of of gay male adult entertainment. I think that like anything else, it has niche appeal for some women but it's not really common. Our sexual tastes definitely exist outside of some clearly defined boundaries of gay and straight - even a cursory look at internet pornography will confirm that.

One particularly interesting item would be the huge ammount of transexual or 'shemale' pornography that is accessed online, primarily by straight men, as gay-identified men generally aren't interested in individuals that look like women.
