So i'm starting hanging on december 1st. I wanted to get recomendations from the various hangers of what the best angle is to start at and also the best weight. I was thinking straight down 5 pounds 3 sets of 20 every day till I go up in time and weight.
 
Unless you have a very low LOT, I´d say start with BTC for the fastest gains.

As for weight, I´d say try 3 pounds first and hang for all available time divided in sets. If you don´t reach fatigue, move up in weight slowly. Maybe you will move on to 5 pounds in a couple days, but give it a try first and see how it feels.

Anyway, from what I have read you are gaining very fast now, I wouldn´t change anything yet, but it´s your call.
 
I thought you have said 7 weeks.

Anyway, I forgot about stretching skin. You will need to do that for a while. That will be the burning sensation you will feel on the base on the skin. Afterwards you will feel the work being done on the ligs. Maybe a SD angle will be better first, as BTC may be too intense for this.

Hey Chi, what does that mean to start with BTC? hang between the cheeks?
 
the BTC was pretty intense skin stretch for the first five days... and i was hanging only 2.5 pounds! After those five days though, I have felt no skin stretch at 9 pounds now. You may want to start at 2.5 for a few days (like Chi said) and move up from there. No rush.
 
Yes. But if you don't want girth don't make it as intense.

Jelquing is always good, and provides a healthier penis. I've always slacked on my jelquing but I'm changing that now. Feels great and I think I'm gaining again. Won't measure yet.

Always Jelq, even if it's just for circulation purposes.
 
i'm not sure if i'd agree with Chi on jelqing. There are other ways to improve circulation, like hot wraps etc. that don't encourage fluid buildup. Jelqing can make the skin sensitive, and could make it uncomfortable to attach the hanger. I think you will find that hanging provides enough fatigue by itself, and by jelqing, you are NOT doing more work, because you could just be hanging during that time.
 
I didn't mean a full jelquing session between hanging sets. I might have sounded a little excited on the jequing advice becouse I am at the moment, but I meant light jelquing to restore proper circulation, not for girth, wich is more intense and can produce, like goldmember said, effects that would complicate further hanging.

And I agree on the hot wraps too, and heat during sessions. Bib has reccommended to use heat for the first half of each set for the first half of the total of sets.
 
alright well guys i'm going 2 places tomorrow. Sportsmart to buy at 10, 7.5, 5 pound weights. Then if they have [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace bandage[/words] wrap imma buy it there if not imma buy it at rite aid. if it comes tomorrow imma just start early.
 
well I bought a 2.5, 5, 10 pound barbell weight and 2" strips of [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace bandage[/words] self adhesive wrap. What do you guys recommend I put under the bandage wrap? It has to be something that won't slip.
