Yeah man, me and Rob wouldn't steer ya wrong here.....not sure how old ya are but when you look back and feel like I shoulda been this way or that way and realize ur wisdom in hindsight, u would give anything to go back knowing what u know now, that sucks.

I'm not saying go screw randoms, I'm saying let urself free from this situation. It's amazing how liberating it is when u tell urself, hey, I don't give a fuck anymore. Cuz u and I both know there was a time when u did, and the way say I haven't met anyone as cool as her yet, tells me u still care which is ok, normal. I don't think the guy is holding himself back from getting laid, he's just saying that he's not interested in fucking any skank that comes his way. That's generally pretty smart, and he seems to be getting plenty of experience with the girl he's currently fucking.

I've always taken a little personal pride in never having fucked a bunch of sub-standard chicks just to get laid. It's a lot more satisfying for me personally to look back over my various encounters and be reminded that I never banged a bunch of fatties of disgusting bar whores, especailly when I compare my record to some of my friend's. Plus, only sleeping with women of quality and maturity helps insure that you'll avoid disease, unwanted, pregnancy, or any psychotics/stalkers/clingy idiots.

I know plenty of guys who didn't get laid that much in school that now fuck lots of great women, and I knew guys that were studs in college that don't get around much anymore. Just because he's playing it smart and not fucking anything that moves his first few years of college doesn't mean he won't be able to enjoy himself later on, in the near future or farther down the road.

If you're not meeting smart, fun, and beautiful girls then you need to take responsibility for that. Be more outgoing and you'll find there are lots of girls you like as much as your ex.
 
Alwaystrying, I think you missed the point here. He's fucking this girl, who happens to be his ex, without any obligation. He doesn't need to get over her or get back out there, because he's already done both of those things. I was merely suggesting that he shouldn't feel the pressure, as per some of the advice offered on this thread, to try and fuck every girl that he possibly could.

I never suggested were out banging fat chicks, so don't be so insecure - I wasn't even addressing you, I was just offering my two cents to 10inch.

I know I'm not in a relationship, but I don't have much incentive to truly get with new women because I have one that jives so well with me now. I know it's tempting to go and explore some, but if restaurant ordering experiences are anything similar, more often than not when I try something new I'm pissed and want my old thing back. Also, I haven't met a girl cooler than her personality wise. About a month and a half ago I had a chance to slam some hot Persian girl who I had just picked up at a party, but because of several factors (was a horrible kisser, she was a dumbass, had nothing interesting) I was totally turned off and ended up just leaving without her, even though she was running after me trying to get my number (she had already put hers in my phone for me). Sure, I could've slammed that nice ass, but what would I have gotten out of it? Probably a whole lot of emotional entanglements, etc. I mean, shit, I haven't even known the girl for a week and I'm supposed to be fucking her brains out? What if she's crazy?

I think sex without any kind of love would be very hard if not impossible for me to do. Fooling around, yeah I can do that, but actual sex, doubt it. At least I probably wouldn't enjoy it, although the girl might.

10inch, I been there man, and all I can say is that comfort level with someone else won't just happen, that's understood. You sound like a good guy, not wanting to just fuck a chick if you're not into them. At the same time, don't feel obligated to fall in love with every woman u almost have sex with or even have sex with. Experiences like the one with you and the Persian chick (if you had sex with her or not) are priceless in my opinion.

Thing is I think women are wider near the surface, and then they narrow down inside; so she's probably not really doing 9".
