Extending semi-erect for gains??

I have a few questions. Is it bad to extend semi-erect? Could there be more potential extending semi-erect then flaccid? I have a homemade extending and sometimes extend sem-erect. I'm thinking this could speed my length gains. Point me in the right direction brothers. So I'm looking for a wider than normal base so I can extend semi-erect as I'm going full out on length.

Thanks DLD. Do you think this would weaken the base? I wouldn't want to weaken the base to the point that it breaks.I wonder how thick the base is.

Making the device yourself but usually they come out like crap. I had one years ago and it was just impossible. The [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SizeGenetics[/words] is just too good to mimic.

They did a great job with that device. The only problem is comfort.
