I've been doing PE pretty strenuously for a little over a month, but my Erection Quality (EQ) is seriously degraded. Getting an erection is increasingly difficult, and this morning, I couldn't get it up past a semi. adult entertainment, visualization etc were ineffective. Haven't tried Viagra, although I have some. But I think all the "abuse" to my dick might be affecting things in a rather negative way. I mean, I'm hanging flaccid at 5-6", which is really cool, but of what value is a big dick if you can't use it? My current regimen is not overly intense, but maybe for me, it is. I'm not a young man anymore, so there could be other factors. My current routine consists of manual stretches in the morning incorporating bundled stretches and Fulcrum stretches. I do about 25 minutes pulling as much as I can physically stand. I'm a pretty strong guy and pull very hard. I also do a 25 second manual A-Stretch every time after urination. In the evening, I do 20 minutes of intense Jelq and squeezes, followed by 5-7 minutes of clamping while doing squeezes, bends, edging etc. Finally, it's 5 minutes in the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] 40 pumped pretty high using the Vacu Vin. By then, I'm quite pumped, about 6.75", maybe more. But this morning, there was no morning wood, or during the night. I got up early and tried to get an erection but failed beyond a semi. So, I'm thinking maybe I should back off a bit, or cease altogether, at least for a day or two, or maybe more. Is anyone else having this issue? Oh, and for the record, Yes, I do kegels, a hundred a day more or less.

Over training will definitely hit your EQ . In my experience you have to find that middle ground to getting the work and also keeping your erections good . What good are your gains if you can't use them ?
Different people will suggest different thing but when I made my gains in would either take a day off or going easy to get my eq back up if I felt my eq was suffering . But your dick will also get use to the training the things that would have killed my eq when I started don't kill it any more .
 
Hello bud. I personally sense that you need a short break away from the exercises. Your old man sounds tired tbh with you. That's a strong routine, good, but no wonder he won't get up. Have 7 days off, no exercises apart from your kegels. If possible, go for 14 days off. You won't loose anything that is already cemented and permanent. Try to perform some hot wrap or similar therapy to the penis several times a day during the rest. This could be very simply just a hot flannel applied around the whole package and left for X amount of time until its cool. This promotes good circulation and helps with healing.
Drink plenty of water, not tons, but drink water. That after all is great for our blood, and the penis relies on our blood. Desiccated liver tablets are fantastic blood builders as well. I took these for years, not only great for overall health, they are proven to help with endurance. Some study was done on rats swimming and how long they could before drowning while on desiccated liver and not on it. But sure, have at least 7 days off. Keep us informed.

Yeah, pretty much. And I appear to have gained about a 1/4" in the past month BPSFL. Now standing at 9.25" That's pressing hard to the bone, but then, you can't really go past the bone can you? Redzulu suggests a week or two off. Man, I hate to have to do that when I'm gaining, but it might be necessary. In addition to some ED, I've also developing a major darkening of the skin, due primarily to Clamping. I've experienced this before over the years, and the only way to get rid of it is to stop PE for several months. I don't know how some guys can do Heavy girth work and not get this skin darkening. Happens to me every time. Also, part of the reason I hate to take the time off is because I've got my PF coming in the mail and should be here next week. But that would give me a week off and then maybe I'll just use the PF with some light stretching for a bit. Not exactly sure what to do.

I think that would be a great idea. unfortunately there's no 'magic elixir' but there are proven steps (albeit boring/drummed-to-death) always worthy of a 'revisit'. Diet, exercise, and sufficient REM sleep allows the body the nutrients, blood-flow and repair-time to remain healthy and vibrant. There's a 'sweet-spot' that we all have within our routines that allow us the necessary balance to keep everything tip-top.
Personally, I've found taking two consecutive days of 2-3 times each month produce better results than my prior, (balls to the wall two-a-days) when I first started.
The PF would be an excellent, passive way to remain 'in the game' while not over doing it...I'd be curious how adding that piece of equipment affects your growth and EQ.
As always, listen to your body...it's going to tell you :)

Holy shit Fill, 9.25, what are you stressing over brother. At that size, IMO, a week off is not going to hurt you. I do understand the want to continue going but it is like you said, what good are the gains if you can't use them. I would listen to Red, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to PE and he would not steer you wrong

I think what I'm going to do is stop all PE and monitor my EQ. Assuming it normalizes, I'll resume, but maybe lower the intensity, time etc, and gradually build up. But as Big Schwanz said, "gotta listen to your body." As for the 9.25" BPFSL, Lookn4girth, I gotta really pull to hit that, but 9" is no problem. But I got a 1.5" fat pad which is kind of a bummer. I'm not really overweight either, and work out regularly. Oh, and while I'm at it, Big Schwanz also pointed out the need for good quality REM sleep, and that is a problem for me as I have insomnia. I get to sleep ok, but invariably wake up after 3 or 4 hours and am unable to get back to sleep without some kind of medication, although I usually just take a Benadryl. Alcohol could also be a factor here, as I tend to drink more than I should. That also contributes to poor sleep and ED. Also take Blood pressure meds which, I'm told, can affect erectile function. Correct me if I'm wrong people, but sure I once read a study done on th effectiveness of [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extenders[/words] to enlarge the penis and they didn't use any other enlargement technique.

You are correct Red. The study did not indicate that any other tools were used during the time and gains were made. IMO, the use of the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] alone should not effect EQ, at least it has not for me. If anything I would say that it helped my EQ

You can and you should as all here should. Kegels can be done anywhere at anytime with no one knowing. I kegel the entire day, subconsciously, as this is how I programed myself. When I was active I probably did 10,000 a day! I just did them constantly, driving, sitting, training, everywhere! Just start the practice and eventually it will become habitual.

I am getting myself trained to that mindset. I find myself doing them without having to remind myself. 10k a day is amazing.

Both you and Lookn4girth are correct. The studies were done using no other form of PE. In fact, in an email I received from [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]Phallosan[/words], they specifically stated "we do not recommend to use other forms of enlargement." Of course, from some posts, I think DLD would disagree, and has recommended at least doing some manual stretching to "tear down" the tissue so that it heals in the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] at a greater length. Also, you must remember that these trials were 6 months long. It would be a shame to go 6 months with very little gains (and I think some have), and then regret not doing some heavier work in conjunction, just because of the "what if" factor. But I will give this some thought. Would sure be a lot less work LOL. Maybe DLD could chime in here with his thoughts.

It's so easy to get fixated on the effect rather than on all the factors that cause the effect. I've always believed that everything affects everything and there's no such thing as nothing...what I mean by that is the way you walk/eat/sleep/breathe/sit/drink/etc. incrementally changes how you function. I akin this to a mobile hanging above a baby's crib...if you touch the giraffe, it moves the pig/sheep/cow/etc. If you over-eat, it affects the...well you get the idea.

It's my view that the entire medical community has bought into the 'pill' mentality that the pharmaceutical companies are selling, (which I believe exacerbates the problem). Mother Nature has created an incredible and efficient mechanism (our bodies) and if properly maintained, won't require all the chemicals being peddled. JMO

Well, I'll be damned if I didn't measure a solid 7.5" NON bone pressed and 8.75" bone pressed. Also, erect mid girth was 6 3/8" and at the base, just a hair under 6 3/4". So guys, I'm back in the game! When I started back doing PE a little over a month ago, I was 7" NBPEL, so that's a half inch in a little over a month. I know that doesn't seem possible, but the ruler doesn't lie. My routine, as I pointed out, has been pretty intense, so maybe that explains it. I also started with about 6" mid girth, so a substantial increase there as well, although I'm a little skeptical because there may be some post girth work swelling still present, even though it's been 48 hours. But regardless, I'm gaining, and gaining fast. Glad to hear that Fill. I would have to agree with BSA, that size would certainly put you in the "Elite" club. Are you going to adjust your routine so that you can maintain your EQ and still grow or are you going to continue but take breaks?

Good question! I think I learned a bit of a lesson, that sometimes more is not better. And I should know, as I've weight trained off and on my entire adult life, and I know you need to take breaks to let muscles recover and grow. So yes, I think taking a day or 2 off each week might indeed be prudent. That sounds like a good plan Fill. I do have days that are less productive than others but I still manage to find a few hours to wear the PF. The good thing about the PF is you can wear it at less intensity and just keep you elongated.
 
Sometimes fatigue will set in and cause weak eq. So if you find yourself with weak erections I would suggest a good Kegels routine.
 
I think what I'm going to do is stop all PE and monitor my EQ. Assuming it normalizes, I'll resume, but maybe lower the intensity, time etc, and gradually build up. I'm sure the [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]Phallosan[/words] is effective, but is likely less effective without some kind of manual, intense stretching, as indicated by other posters using it alone without results. But as Big Schwanz said, "gotta listen to your body." As for the 9.25" BPFSL, Lookn4girth, I gotta really pull to hit that, but 9" is no problem. But I got a 1.5" fat pad which is kind of a bummer. I'm not really overweight either, and work out regularly. Oh, and while I'm at it, Big Schwanz also pointed out the need for good quality REM sleep, and that is a problem for me as I have insomnia. I get to sleep ok, but invariably wake up after 3 or 4 hours and am unable to get back to sleep without some kind of medication, although I usually just take a Benadryl. Alcohol could also be a factor here, as I tend to drink more than I should. That also contributes to poor sleep and ED. Also take Blood pressure meds which, I'm told, can affect erectile function. So, a lot of factors in play here. Will do the best I can in the coming days and keep you guys updated. Thanks for all the advice and support. It's a great community here!
