cycle question

I am 42, in good shape, exercise with weights and cardio 3 times a week, don't smoke and drink socially. I stick to a fairly clean diet at 6' 3" 215lbs. I am a classic ectomorph, so I have to be careful with the cardio or I'll look way too skinny. I have done 3 short cycles of Dianabol many years ago and packed on mass like crazy. I topped out at 238. I have done the Creatine and NO2 thing, and I put on weight, but I didn't like other side effects it had on me.

I am wanting to cycle again, but I'm not sure what to do, and when to do it. I would like to be 215 ripped. I don't know my body fat, but I would have to say I have maybe 10 pounds of fat to show abs. I guess what I'm trying to say is I have no interest in the classic bodybuilder's look, just to get ripped and muscular.

Suggestions? Questions?
 
If you don't really want to put on size then AAS may not be for you... You just have to eat a little above a maintenance diet and train hard.
 
9, thanks for the link. There are a few other threads on this forum dealing with AAS, so I thought it might be OK and someone with vast experience might know a thing of two about it. This is a bodybuilding forum, not Penis Enlargement.

sik, I don't mind getting bigger, just not freaky big. I know there are a few AAS's that are more for getting ripped and not so much putting on massive mass.
 
Well the fact is that you can use almost any steroid for either cutting or bulking... what determines which effect you get is primarily diet. Generally, non-aromatizing compounds are better suited for cutting or making lean gains than aromatizing compounds. I would suggest some compounds and/or stacks but i'm concerned that you don't have enough knowledge of AAS use to run a cycle safely. Dbol only cycles are rookie moves that are considered extremely piss poor.
 
sik, I'm doing some serious reading on t-nation.com as well as mesomorphosis.com. Very good info. You are correct about my lack of knowledge. I was very young and dumb when I did my d-bol cycle, but was needing to bulk up to play football at the college level. I'm not crazy about having to do the injectibles since the oral (possibly) damages the liver and seems to be less effective. I'm also nervous about ordering online since according to a few sites) the authorities run some sites trying to catch buyers.
