ok I see guys wearing cock rings around thier balls...why? what is the point? and any dangers? and there are several types of cock rings. some go all the way around like a "ring" and some like a "U" shape sorta and then there of course is the shoe string method. any advantage over one from the others? why so many? and how snuggly should they fit? and should they fit different for different purpopses like if you use it during sex or if you wear it all day long, or whatever other uses there are?

I would be obliged to answer any of your questions, but maybe you should do a search first. I think the cock ring issue has been addressed a few times pretty well, and if you can't find any answers I've got some links (I'll have to dig up) but might be helpful.

When you ask about wearing them around the balls do you mean ball stretchers or an actual cockring around the whole package? A ring around the whole package is prefered because it manages to push on the prostate and PC area - helping erections.

really? yep around the balls area only is what I was refering to. But that bit of info was educational. I've seen some pics where it looked like they were cutting off circulation and usually have huge nuts and discolored. and thought that might have been a side effect or something. last thing I can imagine wanting to do is damage anything down there, so just had to ask.

Yeah they're perfectly safe, I would go for the rubber ones, easier to get off fastif you need to although I personaaly think the chrome ones look much beter.

Cock rings can cost between $12 to $30 each. What I do is go to wallmart and buy very soft rubber handel bar grips for cycles they cost $5 for two. You normally get 2 per package. If you cut an 3/4" slice off it makes a real good ring. You can get about 8 per grip, that's 16 total.

See my signature for a place to get basically any size chrome rings for $2.00 each. Safe, yes. As long as they are fitted properly. By being fitted properly, they should be semi-snug when you are flaccid and, when erect, you should get a temporary girth increase. General rule of thumb being, if you can get it on when flaccid, it will come off when you get flaccid again. Never a need to panic and try to force it off when erect. I never do girthwork however with a ring on, because it just gets in the way. You may feel 'some' discomfort while wearing a metal ring, but I think that's normal if the ring is doing its job.
