I wear a horse shoe ring all the time and i dont have any marks of any sort. It took me a little bit to get used to it before i could wear 24/7..i find it helps keep my pump after pumping. Yea, invest in a quality silicone ring. I suggest the thick 1/4"-1/2" wide silicone rings. They're usually around $15USD and will last for years.
