A few pumping questions.

Hi,

I've just started pumping. Read a lot of stuff about pump types, safety, how to do it and so on. I think I'm doing it right. I've been doing it for about six weeks now. For the first month I did 3 x 5 minute sets. I've recently started doing 5 x 10 minute sets. I've never gone higher than 4.5 in the pump when semi-erect. When erect it's usually 2.5 - 3.0 (going by how it feels, I reduce the vacuum if it starts to feel uncomfortable).

At age 20 I measured about 5.5" around the shaft. 20 years later it was down to 5.2". After my last pumping session I measured myself at 6" around, which was quite exciting and I think just perfect. I don't want to be bigger than this mostly because when if it's too thick she starts to find it uncomfortable or even painful.

I have two questions really. The first is that I'm uncut and I don't want to pump my foreskin because it makes my penis look too freaky. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I read something about adhesive bandages, wrapping some around the retracted foreskin before pumping. Has anyone tried this and does it work?

My second question is about how long I can expect to keep the pump for, without cock rings and so on. I imagine it starts shrinking the moment the erection is lost and the body gets to work healing it. How long before sex should I pump? Ideally I want the pump to last 3 or 4 hours. Is this something that just happens with experience? Are there any tricks for keeping the girth for an evening?

I find that wearing a certain kind of cock ring compresses the base skin and keeps the skin retracted. I use the c ring by doc johnson, but any cock ring that is soft and can grip your cock skin right should work. Another thing I think you might look for is a vacuum guage. I used to pump without one and after 5 minutes of pumping my cock couldnt really tell the pressure so well, and I ended up overpumping and getting all that fluid buildup in the skin. Get a pump with a guage and stick to 5 mm hg or perhaps slightly higher.

Pump gains should last the whole day. Granted they may not be as huge as right after the pump, but I have pumped at night and woke up in the morning with still a significantly heavier member.
