warning: i may ramble a bit on here LMAO . i have just finished a week off from doing pe. this week off was not by choice mind you. i have been at this for over 4 months and am still wet behind the ears. i had a great session tonight and good ones on the last 2 days. i thought a lot about my goals and also about the anxiousness to "want it all to happen NOW". it is hard to be consistent when the light at the end of the tunnel is very faint. but somehow i felt inspired and wanted to share my thoughts so that anyone else feeling like they won't win this "war" might feel a bit better. i thought to myself " i can go about this in one of 2 ways ." either (1) i can bitch and complain and be faithless with nothing to gain but frustration or (2) i can focus myself, realize this will take time and GO FOR IT and get close to or maybe beyond my goals. i have gained from pe but within the last few weeks, i have plateaued. but i gotta remember... THIS IS THE WAY THAT PROGRESS GOES!! it is similar to when i started lifting weights because i used to be a skinny little kid. i ate and trained and pushed soooo hard. it took some time, but i gotta bigger and muscular. within 3.3yrs i went from 148lbs to 192lbs. it happened cause i pushed, i believed, i followed through. so now, just because i hit a tough time with pe, should i quit..... HELL NO!!! i gotta keep pushing along and fight this "war" with ALL my heart. it is the only way to succeed. this forum provides the weaponry to do it. a lot of informative pros and a bunch of inspiration. thanks guys.... this fight is far from over!!

Rambles are good to get out some time. Keep up the dedication. Like your MK stuff. Did you hear about the third movie?

Let me ask you this. Is all that weight muscle? And did you have to change your diet or take any supplements to make significant gains?

thanx man!! i heard some stuff about mk3 awhile back... not much though. what did you hear?? almost all of the weight is muscle. i am now in a cutting phase and have shed about 11lbs. the 6 pack is much more visible now and my fat pad is almost gone (one of my goals) LMAO i changed my diet BIG TIME!!!! i uped my protein a bunch. are you looking to gain weight/muscle? i used protein powders and also creatine on and off. that was about as crazy as i got with supplements, but it worked.

I lift about every other day. Wouldn't mind putting on some more muscle. I'm 5'11 and 157lbs atm. I gained weight knowingly over winter and was up to 180. I thought working out might turn some of that into muscle, but no mainly just lost all of it and I knew I would b/c I was running to get it off as well. G/f didn't like the weight on me and I didn't either really. Weights I am lifting now are not maximizing what I could be lifting. Before I got into weights heavy and my back started giving me probs. My bench was up to 200 or so and I was getting those probs probably b/c I never worked my back.

All exercises I do 5 sets usually and to fatigue. Now I do bench press, butterfly curls, tricept bar over the head, and tricept work with dumbbells extending back one day. Day off. Then the next workout day I do Bicep curls from 35 lbs, to 30, and down to 20. Then I do some shoulder work. Mainly 20 lbs in each hand straight up and out two sets. Then two sets up and out to the sides. I finish with Lateral bar pulldowns to the back. Day off. Repeat.

I do crunch sets and leg lefts at night and know I should do them in the morning and afternoon too. I drink several bottles of water a day. Usually one soda too.

When I first got into lifting heavy I used creatine and gained some muscle, but I don't know if it was from the creatine or getting into weights heavy the first time.

How did you up your protein?

Oh and about mk3 I just heard they announced it and have a web space for it. :)

I'm sad Cyrax got blown up in 2. He as my fav. Maybe Smoke can be in this one.

i increased my protein with protein shakes and i made sure that i was taking in protein rich foods more. yeah cyrax was cool :)
