I need some help on stretching aids. I've been using toilet paper since I don't know when, but it's just too rough. I need some suggestions on something that's alot better. My hand alone can't get a good enough grip, keeps slipping. Anybody care to tell me what they use personally? I've been thinking of different tings: rubber gloves, baby powder, etc. I need something new because last night I injured my skin from the damn toilet paper >:( I may even have to skip the stretching part of my workout because of it...

ive tried paper, socks, shirts...never gloves....Right now I use baby powder...My hands get so tired and I also get slippage as well...the only thing you can do is make sure you wash your hands and unit off to get the oil off and baby powder your ands and johnson. Other than that your going to have to have shorter, but more intense stretches. Or you can purchase the power assist to get better stretches (something I really want to buy but cannot yet)....

I can't really add anything Juggers didn't already mention. Personally I used ordinary dishwashing gloves, which worked OK, but I never completely overcame the problem of slippage even though I tried plenty of different things. You might want to settle for shorter, more intense stretches of 30-50 seconds. It should work out fine as long as your sessions are as long as they would be with prolonged stretches.

I'll try with latex gloves tonight and let you guys know how it does.

Tried the gloves and it still irritated the skin...Weird since it didn't use to be so easy to irritate it. Maybe it's because I hadn't stretched for a long time. I'd been doing girth work only for about 2-3 months.

I used a golf glove last night and will continue to use that. Very comfortable grip. No slippage.
