I had a ehhhh session this morning and i blame it on the damn air bubble. Soooooo...... I just got back from home depot....Originally i wanted to get some tubing that would fit over the top of the Bathmate but no luck. So i ended up talking to one of the guys there and i told him i needed something that would allow me to place the tubing over the top of a 20oz coke bottle to create a suction effect... and after a little bit of searching we came to the conclusion that they didnt have it....... BUT....we were able to put 3 pieces of metal together (each looked like a smaller garden hose end connecting into a larger garden hose end) and then attached a thinner then i was looking for latex tubing to the smallest one....and created a suction effect :)

Kinda looked like ........ 0-0-0--------------- (tubing)

got home and tried to see if it would work (didnt actually use the Bathmate but everything fit over the top) and i was able to feel suction when i took a deep breath. I believe this will get rid of this air bubble that has been bothering me for so long. Im def gonna break this plateau!

LOL absolutely not....i am not even "handy"..... I just was tired of always seeing that air bubble and wanted to do something about it. I went to Home Depot last night, and the guy helped me out. He was trying to send me on my way....but i was able to figure it out. It works great!

does sucking that air bubble out make that much of a difference? i normlly have a tiny air pocket on the top but i can still get crazy suction to the point to where its painfull

To tell you the truth im not 100% sure if it does or does not make a difference....All i know is or the last like 2/3 weeks ive been stuck at about 185-190...and when i seem to get a little bit past 190 my dick eventually goes back down to about 180....So i think this is whats going to help me break the plateau. Im praying for it actually LOL.....i wanna get the most outta this equipment!

That is some crazy modification! I am very impressed.

You know what though....i spoke to soon. I thought it was going to work very well and effectively....but it was the complete opposite. The problem is that since the end of the mod. i created is metal and heavy....when placing it over the Bathmate it actually pushes the white button in....which then releases air rather then taking it out. I tried putting it on softer, and i was not able to suck the air bubble out at all. It doesnt make any sense to me.....as i thought that i sucking air out of the Bathmate would get rid of the Air bubble, but it didn't do it at all. I guess i gotta think of something else to try to solve this problem because im getting tired of being stuck at 185ish

Why did bubbles begin coming out of your Bathmate? Did you try holding it under water while you pump? Taking the white cap off and cleaning it? If mine started having bubbles coming out the top and I could not afford a new one I would probably try trading the washers out with new ones or using water proof glue to try and clog the holes personally.

Nah its not that the bubbles come out...its that when i pump a big air bubble always ends up at the top of my Bathmate. Ive tried playing with the numb, tried creating this device, i just cleaned it tonight so we'll see what happens with tomorrow session, but i just dont get why im having such an issue with this bubble. I have been stuck at 185ish for the last 2-3 weeks, and its a lil discouraging....so im just trying to figure out how to beat this badboy and keep it moving!

Is this a bubble that is there because u can't pump it out or is it because air is being sucked in? I only ask because for the first week that I had my Bathmate, I could not get it to hold pressure because when I would pump, air would enter the chamber through the o-ring. I thought it was a problem with the Check valve but it turned out to be the o-ring that seals the valve. Little bubbles would enter the chamber though that valve. I called Bathmate and they never responded. I e-mailed them 3 times but they never replied. Finally I just started thinking about how and why this was happening. I figured that air is getting in because that's all there is outside of it. Therefore if I suBathmateerged it under water while under pressure, if it were to suck anything in, it would be water. I use the Bathmate in the shower. So while pumping, I cup my left hand around the valve and use my right hand to channel water into my left hand, thus covering the valve with water. This stopped the air leak. I didn't want to risk damaging the Bathmate by taking the valve apart to change the o-ring so this is what I've been doing for a while. I have noticed that the more pressure is created, the less likely it is to suck air in.

I have no idea. I just tried it today and suBathmateerged it completely underwater while pumping....bubble was still there. I dunno how to fix this problem. I have tried 1)suBathmateerging it completely 2)tapping the black nib and/or pulling the black nib outwards 3) creating a devise that is supposed to suck air out of the Bathmate. None of these have worked to get rid of this mysterious air bubble.

i took the vent out and apart and the little foam that is attach to it and turned it round, try that!

Ok now I know the bubble you're talking about. I noticed that after I pump, this bubble will appear when I'm just standing in the shower waiting. What happens is that when you enter the Bathmate, air gets trapped in the ribs of the gator. When you're done pumping and you hold the Bathmate up, that air shakes loose and accumulates at the top. So what I do is when I enter the Bathmate, I pump once just to get an initial seal. Then I lean up on the shower wall and point the Bathmate straight up and tap the body a bit to make all the air go up. Then in this same position, I press the release valve and pump at the same time. Once I get all the air out, which only take like 2 pumps, I release the valve and proceed to pump for max pressure. This process has allowed me to pump with no air bubble. I developed this process because I noticed that if I got into this position and pumped without pressing the release valve, air would get trapped around the o-ring and not the center of the valve. Therefore, when I would pump, only water would pass through the center and out of the small check valve. By pressing the larger release valve while pumping, the o-ring moves down and the pumping action pushes the air and water out of the larger release valve. After I get the air out, I just pump normally without pressing either valves. So only press the release valve at the beginning of the session when pumping to release air. Did I explain that well?

Also, be careful not to pump to hard or too much after you reach max pressure. I noticed that when I pump to max pressure, sometimes I get greedy and try to pump just a little more. As a result, I press hard enough to open the valve but since I'm at max, no water is pushed out and at that point, air gets in. Sometimes enough to make me have to take it off and fill with water and start over. Remember, unless manually pressed, the valve will only open when you pump and force water out. But if now water goes out in this small time frame, then air will go in and you will lose pressure.

but wouldn't putting the Bathmate up against the wall and pressing the valve release some water also? I feel like if i try im gonna lose alot of water...

Glad I read this. Was gonna order - now I am wondering....Sounds like it's getting over-complicated. Anyone else?
