Hey guys, whats happening? As you can see I am new to this board and I hope I am putting this topic in the right section. If not please forgive me.

Here's the deal. Ever since I was about 13, 25 now, I have felt a weird lump on my left testicle. Its almost like the whole testicle is coming apart so to speak. So instead of one round object its like one coming apart with mybe one half larger than the other. Its really hard to describe. But something just tells me its not testicle cancer. So my question is what are other forms of lumps or has anyone had anything similar like this happen to them?

Thanks

I should visit a doctor if I were you, we are no saints.
If I felt a lump I would be pretty scared, so visit the doctor and you know for shure. You should not take guessed answers on this one, the best answer you get is from a doctor, no-one else.

Yea, I'd go see a doctor just to be sure, but I'd guess that if it were cancer, you'd already be dead. Cheery, eh? Anyway, I had a smaller lump that turned out to be nothing more than a collection of blood vessels. It could be something like that. Still I would go see a doctor just to be on the safe side.

I think I have the same thing, on the bottom of the left one. I asked the doctor (who was female by the way) to check it to make sure it's not cancer and she said it was something called varicocele. Basically a bunch of veins that got bigger I think. I've had it since I can remember and I'm 21 now. She said there's no risk but the veins could end up swelling with blood in which case it would hurt and I'd have to have it checked out again. I doubt that would happen, it hasn't yet.

Varicoceles are the #1 cause of infertility in men. You can get it taken tare of. Check this site out for details: http://www.varicoceles.com/faq.htm .

Vanilla visit the doctor pronto man, instead of complaining here.
And then tell us(your brothers and sisters) how it went. Okay?

Peace out.

You need to see a urologist. I had testicular cancer a year ago and it was a tough thing to go through but it really put life into perspective for me and showed what was important.

My urologist told me that if the mass was internal there was a 90% chance it was cancerous, and it was. He also told me that if it was external that there was a 90% chance it wad non-cancerous and probably a cyst.

However, please DON'T self-diagnose this. Take it from me, you want to get it checked out for your peace of mind and health's sake. Don't chance this. It could be something you have not even thought of. A good urlogist will know.

Ironic thing is I have come across a lump myself on the right testicle at the very bottom. When I locate it with my fingers it hurts and aches sometimes [rarely]. It feels like a bunch of elastic bands.....I'm going to apply hot/Ice treatment ASAP and see if it goes down, if not than I'll have to go the doctors myself. I think it could be something like a Varicocele.

Guys, lumps on the boys is something that needs to be taken seriously. We're not talking about ice, bandaids and heatpacks and junk. More than likely it's not cancer but if it is it needs to be treated. No one likes to go to the doctor with a problem down there but sometimes it's just the best thing to do. I had to go a year or so ago and ended up having a ultrasound done. It wasn't the most fun thing I've ever done but when I left I knew I didn't have cancer. If you wait and it is cancer all you are doing is giving it a chance to spread.

Guys look if the lump feels like a hard frozen pee attached to the testicle than that could be cancer. Everybody has a lumpy, spongey feeling attachment to the back of their left testicle its called the vas defrins i belive. The balls are obviously attached to cordlike structures they don't just sit in the scrotum.

On my right nut on the back i also have a similar lump its mushy and also aches sometimes especially when we squeeze it. I don't know about anybody else but my balls are extremely sensitive and its hard for me to do like testicle massages or anything it makes me wanna get sick. Anyways we as guys should know a little more about ourselves, and get a little more educated so we know when a thing or problem occurs. iam a paranoid person and think everything is wrong if there's doubt get it checked out but also do some anatomy research on the net or something to become more aware of the human body and especially the reproductive organs. I took a Human Sexuality course and it was extremely helpful. The balls should be examined at least once a month to be aware of what is normal and what isn't. Don't do all this pe just to lose your main man down the line b/c something could of been prevented.

:( i got a small lil thingie, but the doc didn't think anythin about it. but then again he also didn't ask me to cough when he was feelin my balls. i need to see if i can have kids.......that is my main concern. and even if i had kids i wouldn't want them to have the same challenges i had.

Interesting. I wonder how much that procedure costs. My left testicle is noticably smaller than my right and thats probably whats causing it.

I have varicocele, it doesn't sound like what you have. The veins or whatever leading from your dick to your nuts gets much more massive in volume than on the other nut and it sometimes feels like you have blueballs but on those veins, not on the nuts. I doubt what you have is cancer too but I would have it checked anyway.

The doctor I went to showed me how to check for ball cancer on my own nuts and on demonstration cancer nuts. It's not pleasant, you have to squeeze hard enough so that it hurts. It feels like a tiny marble so you have to not skimp over stuff quickly.

Hang on u have vericocele and it feels like u have blue balls in your sac like and it hurts in your stomach also. I just went to the doctor for something similar he said my epididamas was holding a little fluid so he gave me some meds well see how it works.
