Im 6'1 tall and 185 lbs im im slim but my upper body is not I got man boobs and a flabby stomach what will be the best things Ican do to get rid of them soon as possible? thanks
 
Eat a well balanced maintenance diet, spread out over six meals throughout the day and go to the gym.

There is no quick and dirty way to answer your question cuz every bodies body is different. Some people can live off of cheesecake and gain no fat, others; a little slip of their diet, and they turn into a fucking ocean mammal.
 
The absolute best diet I have come across is a diet I call the Earth diet. If you can shoot it or pick it, you can eat it. If you cant do either of those you cant. Basically you eat meat, fruits and vegetables and alot of water. MOST people carry alot of shit in their intestines, this will help eliminate that as well. I recently lost 12 lbs straight out of my stomach. Didnt know I was so full of shit. lol

Im a personal trainer and have scanned many diets and this one makes a whole lot of sense to me.

Cut down on carbs.Complex carbs r good but simple carbs(sugar) stay the hell away from.

You WILL lose weight.

I was similar to you.185 also and 6'1.Not obese by any stretch but it was all in the wrong spots.Puffy face,stomach,handles,etc.I dropped about 15 pounds fairly quick and now i feel light on my feet and look much better at 170.

I actual had no idea there was a direct link betweens carbs and weight til recently.I always thought calories/fat were the main culprit.But i guess its the opposite.
 
There have been several diets that have worked well for me and others in the past...

Cyclical Ketogenic Diet (CKD): This a low-carb diet designed for conditioned athletes that want to preserve muscle while cutting fat. This is often used by BB'ers when cutting. (www.c-k-d.com)

Standard Ketogenic Diet (SKD): This is also a low-carb diet similar to CKD but doesn't include days of high carbs to replenish glycogen store as the CKD does. It is closer to the Atkins and works much quicker to lose fat, but the downside is similar to atkins in that it is difficult to sustain. A good plan is to run SKD for 2-3 weeks then switch over to CKD.

Body-for-Life (BFL): This is a diet/exercize program designed for the average person. My wife was able to lose over 30lbs on this. You can get the book from most bookstores or from their website (www.bodyforlife.com).

Abs Diet: I just started this and i really like it alot. This diet doesn't tell you what to eat and what not to but instead gives you the insight to make a better choice when going out or staying in. This diet was designed by the Editor-inChief of Men'sHealth Magazine (www.theabsdiet.com).

One thing nice about the BFL and Abs diet is that they have an on going contest open to anyone interested where you can win prizes for succeeding in your weightloss goal. It's a great way to stay motivated...

Push-Ups for pecks and Sit-Ups for abs. I do 50 of each as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning, so the fuel is from my fat reserves and not a full belly of food. I have a cheap 100$ bench from Wal-Mart that has a butterfly work-out position that is awesome for the chest, but if you don't have weights I suggest lying on a bench of some sort and with your arms straight out (like you're crucified) lift some books. My grandfather was in the Marines and an uncle of mine asked him when he got out how he could get ripped like him....my gramps said pick a # between 1-500...he said 425...."Do 425 push-ups and sit-ups everyday!"(spaced out of course)....about 6 months later my uncle was fucking ripped..but not real bulky just super toned like Van Dam...I always exercise for tone because I have the body-frame for getting huge with the no-neck look...something I don't want. I'm 5'10'' and at 165lbs and I'm cut, but it's winter...and everyone usually gains alil fat in winter...it's natural. Whatever you decide to try...treat it like Penis Enlargement and it'll work..meaning you have to stick with it and the results come over time.
