Hey guys, just received my Hercules this morning..been playing around with it. Can someone explain the top bit for me please? I dunno what to do with it? Do I push the black button?? Or the dome under it?? I don't understand how it works...

You hold down the black button when filling the unit with water so it doesn't just flow out while it is upside down. The dome is to release pressure.

To get the best out of your Bathmate sessions, try to enter the unit as erect as possible. I'd really try pulse pumping with the Bathmate. Enter the unit erect as possible and then push the unit down to climb the ruler on the Bathmate as far as you can and try to keep that position for about 5 minutes and then release some pressure by holding pressing down on the dome (the black button is just for when you're filling it up) to a medium pressure for 30 seconds and then back up to the max pressure you can handle.

I'd pulse pump at least once a week for a 20 minute session but for your main workyou ought to look into DLD's SRT template with the Bathmate.

Thanks for your detailed reply much appreciated. I have another question if that's OK? I used it for the first time tonight but I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't do a good session. I understand it's going to take me a couple of goes to nail the routine but the question I have is how much do you pump?? Cos I started to feel a bit of a stretchy pain in the top of my penis and a pulling pain around my pubic bone area. I obviously want to pump to the maximum that I can go to but I don't want to injure myself. Shall I aim for a half inch above my erect length?? I really dont know. I was flaccid when I went in tonight so I'll go in erect from now on.

When I first got the Bathmate I tried going in flaccid and experienced the same pain you mentioned but also my dick just look mutated after a 20 minute session.

Go in erect and just go as far as you can pushing your comfort levels but not to the point of pain. Don't worry, you'll be able to climb the the little ruler on the side of the unit the more consistently you use it.

I think I first capped out at 165 mm during my first few sessions and eventually got to 185mm on the pump ruler at the end of 4 months.

So, if half an inch above erect length is where it feels like you're getting a good pump without pain, start there. There will be a slight bit of discomfort but if you actually feel pain- press down on the dome to release some pressure. You'll climb the ruler on the Bathmate bit by bit.
 
Cheers mate that's exactly what I needed to know...also sorry one last question..do I have to do 3 times 5 minute sessions or can I just leave it on for a straight 15-20 mins??? Thanks so much for ur help mate...proper diamond
 
No problem.

It really depends how you want to structure your workout. You could use the Bathmate primarily for girth and go about DLD's 5x5x3 Girth Program (I think you should ease into this if you're just starting out. Maybe do regular Jelqs at first before SSJs): 5x5x3

You could do something like maybe an intensive stretching routine during your morning shower ( this is what I used to do but I also used to wrap my member to keep it enlogated while I was at school or work) and use the Bathmate in the evening.

OR you could do 3 sets of 10 mins with the Bathmate while incorporating Bathmate stretches (lightly pulling on the unit at the base once you've attained a good level of suction) and do 5 minutes of Jelqing between each set.
 
If you really want to see results with the Bathmate you should really jelq between sets (if you're new don't jelq past 70% erect).

using the Bathmate alone won't do anything.

and if you really, really really want to see gains, mod your BM with the VacuVin, (but only after you're body has become accustomed to the stock pressure)

its best to start with just 5-10 minutes a day and do lots of jelqs. Get the most gains out of the least effort before you go full hog. Also going slow at first will allow your penis to get conditioned and you will be less likely to get a vein issue or crazy bruising. let us know how its going

Yup, take you time. It was a theory of RedZulu that he believed men who went too hard too fast in the pump are the ones who take on discoloration. Using the 5x5x3 SRT method will greatly reduce the negative parts of pumping whole encouraging the gainful parts...safely:)
