The seal on my x40 came unhinged today. I think it may be reparable but I'm not sure what kind of adhesive to use. Leaning towards gorilla glue at the moment, since it's water proof and tough. Any experience with the seal coming loose without any actual damage would be appreciated.

You mean the gaiter?

Yea. Didn't rip or anything. I was able to get a little pressure by holding it down with my hand so I'm hoping gorilla glue would hold up.

Yeah or strap it down somehow. You shouldn't need glue as the ring is supposed to lock the gaiter in place like so http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/bathmate-hercules-goliath-hydromax-x30-x40-and-hydromax-xtreme-hydropump-forum/86624-fix-curve-with-bathmate.html
Doesn't gorilla expand a bit like those insulation caulks? Use extreme caution

Yea, probably don't want to go bananas with gorilla glue.

It's literally just the adhesive that came unstuck. It should be usable once I get it glued I think. I'll probably tie it up with a shoelace after I apply it to make sure it glues itself in an airtight way. Really pissed me off when it happened, but after close examination it should seriously be fine.

I wouldn't recommend it. There could be a potential loss of pressure or other problems that come with taking anything apart. The ring around the top of the gaiter is a tight fit, so trying to get it back on could also cause more damage to it.

Take your time bro

I think you might wanna send it to warranty,or buy another one...you might lose preasure and that's not good, you won't be able to use 100 % of your BM.As DLD suggested, speak with those guys, they might replace your BM.

Sigh

In my infinite wisdom I neglected to keep proof of purchase, and pealed the label off. I also didn't get it here and, the biggest problem, I'm not willing to go without it now. That process will kill my momentum.

The gorilla glue idea didn't work either. The glue cracked and pealed right off. Fortunately, I have a ring that's working well enough to keep the seal closed so that I can use it at least to some capacity. I can't force it to the levels I usually do, but I am still getting a decent pump out of it. I'm just going to make due with how it is. I have a feeling I was pushing it to limits it isn't meant to handle. Maybe I'm just being forced to stay within the actual limits.

To clarify, I took out the protective sleeve to guard from the pain rings and have literally been pushing the gaiter into itself to squeeze out extra pressure. The amount of pressure I'm getting now is about the same as when the sleeve was in. So yea, it's not the same but maybe I was using too much pressure. My two sessions using a ring to rig it have both yielded better expansion than I expected. So I guess I have no choice but find out, cause I'm too broke for a while to replace it. At least I have that cock ring. Really felt like a waste of money until now. Now it almost seems like good fortune.
