How important is heat while doing PE?

You can go an entire successful PE career without ever using heat for warmups or warmdowns. It's not necessary, but technically it should be better.

Some swear by it. I find when I use heat my penis is more "stretchy" after

There was some study posted here in around 2009 (iirc) (I think by me for that matter) of a study which had found that the body's collagens become the most pliable when heated up to a temp between 104*F and 115*F, so yeah your feeling stretchier after adding heat is good science.

If it only made you stretchier, it could make achieving gains more difficult .. because something stretchy that has not been broken down or affected by the stretching forces would have no reason to remodel (and grow larger). And there is probably some of that going on. But, on whole, the way that heat makes the tissues more susceptible to breakdown (and later on then, remodeling) by the PE exercises should make it better than not using heat/warmups.

Other elements of stretching the particular collagens of the penis is that they will try to resist stretching in length directions (pulling out, like a 'North/South' vector), and resist stretching in width directions (ala girth, being stretched laterally, like a 'East/West' direction) , which is every obvious direction that PE tries to modify.

Using a lot of force that is great enough to overcome the resistance is one way to overcome that (if the tissues don't respond by becoming tougher and more resistant)... but there are two types of better ways to go about it ..

The collagens of the penis are not as resistant to stretching in Diagonal directions, and they are not as resistant to stretching in deflected directions. This is why exercises such as Bundled Stretches, and Jelqs/Slow Squash Jelqs, and Cranks/Directional Pulls (and anything else that uses diagonal or deflected forces) work especially well.

To add all of those tweaks together, the fastest way to make gains should be to heat up between 104 and 115, and then use diagonal and deflected vector exercises .. at least as pre-fatigue exercises (breaking down the resistance) .. before doing additional exercises of other types.

Right, but the body self regulates and unless you have a foolproof, 100% sure way of keeping your penis at that consistent temperature range, you're likely wasting time. In other words, using heat at the start or after your session is pretty useless. A hot tub might work.

It is vital. Your body produces heat by itself but with the accumulation of more heat cells will work faster in order to maintain homeostasis and this production will eventually send signals for cells to work harder and so when you're stretching and lengthening those smooth muscles the muscle contractions and stretching on the tissue level will work faster for repair as there is more than 1 vital task necessary to keep homeostasis.

This is the zeroth law of thermodynamics friends. Basically when two objects are placed within proximity of one another, they both will transfer heat (energy) until both objects reach an "equilibrium" temperature over time. So think about it this way. As you heat up your penis the heat not only heats up your penis, but because it's energy, it will travel through to the rest of your body starting in the surrounding areas. If those parts of your body don't reach said temperature, heat continues to transfer until you, your penis, and the object being used to heat you are at the same temperature (or nearly close to it). Which means that in order to maintain those temps, you have to expose the rest of your body to those temps. 104 degF isn't so bad considering that the body can reach those temps by itself while fending off infection, but anything approaching 110 is dangerous. Remember that most of those studies of ligaments, muscles, and type 2 collagen were done on cadavers and most of the time where stripped away from the body itself. This provided a quick means of being able to apply heat and allow it to transfer very quickly through the tissue under study. Still, would I apply heat? Yes. I've done it before and it does feel like things loosen up a bunch. Am I approaching 104 degF? I doubt it, but maybe a little goes a long way. Who knows.

heat definitely helps, thats why bathmate pumps with luke warm water are amazing. if i was single and could invest extra time in PE i would do like 6 hours in an extender with heatpad or IR every night

The heating pad, for me, was incredible and I used it every moment I could after sessions or between sessions. It helped me remain elongated and expanded much longer than without the heating pad. My penis was always in a state of malleability.

This is exactly what I am finding.Hell,if it worked for you it's heat for me from now on. Thanks for that answer because it's what is happening for me.

This is what I was looking for : "My penis was always in a state of malleability"

If you want to be successful at something look towards someone who has successfully made this happen, put the proverbial tracing paper on top and simply trace those practices. As a matter of fact when tracing these things you may find even better ways to accomplish it. But, yes, the heat worked incredibly for me.
