People, if you are going to join a forum/website that you may be worried about family or friends finding out about, do not use your regular daily email to sign up to it. If you subscribed to a thread here or at most other forums, you will receive updates to that thread while subscribed to it. It is 2015 and takes a few minutes to create a new email at hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.
Also, if you are worried about someone googling your username, do not use a username here that you may use on other non related forums/websites.
Problem solved.
