I'm not exactly a wizard when it comes to mixing and matching colors or picking out outfits. I really would like if someone could post some tips or something to picking out good colors that match everything and also what just looks good clotheswise. Go go go!!

I have a hunch that you would fit in an yellow poloshirt, black jeans, the little more shiny ones, then a bealt that has some touch to it.
And also you would have a keychain, a pretty thick one. And around neck, one of those pearl necklesses.

man I'm so in the same boat as you. only way I pick something out I know looks good together is if my told it did sometime previously.

Match the colors of your shoes and shirt. Then just make sure the rest fits in and that will be pimp.

I think some more tighter fitting jeans would go good with electric's style, and for the kicks I would go with some adidas, pumas or asics..or even some kind of skate-boarding shoe, im more of a pac-sun type shopper though.

seriously im going to go against the grain here and say

dress how you want, dont feel you have to dress in a certain way, ive got a style of dress which isnt the norm for my age/liking (nowadays you gotta dress a certain way to be cool, and be part of a crowd) and i dont give a fuck, my dress sense denote who i am, my clothes embody who i am as a person, unless i have to for a certain reason i would never wear a suit, its just not who i am as a person.

What kind of style do you guys like? I've always disliked the ghetto look and brands. Maybe its my natural tendencies to avoid conformity. The clothes I wear usualy dont have have brand names plastered all over them.

I think outfits just need to match the same color tones. Dont "clash" your colors. Well thats what my ex always told me. I think green and tan go good together. Black and anything. Blue with either gray or white.

whaddya think?

I've always loved the combination of black and white. Most of my clothes are white, but I also have plenty of black, some blue and gray. White shoes, black pants and a white shirt look stunning together IMO, especially if you have a tan. Then again, white may not suit Itselectric's style at all.

Yeah I'm not up for much thuggin' but I mean I like to look nice and I just want something that goes together. All my clothes I have now go together, but they're too basic, maybe I'm thinking of more layers or what I could layer or something.

Belt should always match shoes. Shade of your shirt should always be lighter than that of your tie. Never tug in t-shirts. Color(except for shoes/belt), doesn't really matter. It's all about the shade. For example tan leather jacket might looks very good with light green. What i ussually do is i ask for advice from the girls or guys working at the shops. If you go to expensive shops, they'll always offer you good combinations and advice.
P.S NEVER wear sandals with socks and never wear white socks with black shoes. Also you know the new dressy sneakers/shoes they are selling are meant to be worn without socks.

Here are a few examples that usually I would never wear, but I believe they look good together. Yes, it's what a lot of people wear unfortunately.

The one with the tan pants I can't tell if it goes together or not?

eughh dont like any of those, but then im not a fan of jeans and pinstripe/checkered shirts.

this is what i was wearing today

black long sleaved tshirt, cuff buttons undone, shirt buttoned apart from top 3 buttons, underneath i was wearing an orange short sleaved t-shirt (sorta like the first one, a transformers tshirt no less), and black smart casual trousers. i normally exchange the trousers with a pair of black combats.

basically, i couldnt give a fuck what people thing, thats the way i like to dress so i dress like it.
