@oldandlively do you think this suggestion will work and won't have any side effects on women?
This is based on each female, just like it depends on each male. Our bodies may look the same, have the same functions, but it doesn't mean we all fit into one single category and everything works 100% each and every time. Let's break things down:
Black Chohosh:
This one is a traditional herb used by many of my friends. But when taking this during menopausal period, it can cause headaches because of the compounds within the plants. The leaves and stems tend to have different compounds and concentration loads than the roots or the part near the roots. I've seen people blacked out and went into odd short term comatose because they didn't know how to use it. This is a big warning flag.
Red Gingseng:
Great for blood flow to stimulate "hot and bothered" sensation, especially before sexy nights, but it will bring about over blood flow stimulation and causes issues with hot flashes. Yeah, not a good idea if you don't know what you're doing on this. You definitely need advices of a guru herbalist when combining this with other herbs.
Diamainia:
Not sure what this is. The brother may be indicating the damiana perhalf? This has been used throughout the world in various form of extracts to aid digestion, vaginal dryness, cramping during menstruating, high concentration tends to create "mood enhancing", and of course, sexual health because it does have aphrodisiac and libido enhancement for females. But if the dosage is not properly regulated, it can turn into a major disaster, including stomach ulcers and internal bleeding. I do recall quite a few toxicity cases for this one.
Ginko Biloba:
Great for phyto-enzymes to enhance oxidative stress prevention due to the flavonoids and antioxidants, but too much of this is brings about phytotoxicity that can hurt the body more than it helps.
Soy milk:
Soy is great in terms of phytoestrogen, but too much of anything will irritate the guts, and brings about uncontrollable hot flashes. Our body is not made to digest plants 80% of the time, and absorbing plant's nutrients is that 20% window of effectiveness, if even that. Unless the female's family went through at least 10 generations of being a vegetarian or vegan dietary, like Japanese eating seaweed for 10+ generations, our bodies are not adapted to be extracting nutrients from plants like the herbavor. We are a mix between an ominivor and a carnivor. The most optimistic point of view is 30% absorption. Phytoestrogen is very minor in the whole scheme of getting the "estrogen" level the female needs. This is where the estrogen treatment comes into play.
We've entered into an age where we have knowledge of both holistic and pharmaceutic to control menopause. This is where the female needs to consult with a specialist and closely watch the dietary needs and supplementary/treatment intakes. Don't go crazy with just any supplements in high doses, just like us men while doing PE.
