Wet vs. Dry Jelqing?

Hey all, thanks in advance to anyone who can entertain my newbie question:

What is the difference between wet and dry jelqing? Is one done with a lubricant and the other without? Also, what are the benefits of each?

Okay Dry jelqing is done WITHOUT lube
Wet Jelqing is done WITH lube

Dry jelqing is less tiring I feel but that might be me.
Seem todo more reps with dry jelqs too.

Wet jelqs seem to get the blood in quicker and faster, with more force.
Its harder work and tougher I THINK to keep a constant erection than using the Dry jelq.

They both target the same things - length and girth including the Head.

Some say Dry is more for girth and wet for length....I disagree.......they will work both well, but it does seem that the Dry jelq gives a better quicker pump to the penis head.

I have always liked wet ones the best, but I do dry ones sometimes from time to time.
Some guys cant do it dry cos they pull their skin.

I prefer Wet Jelqs as dry ones tend to irritate my skin. I suppose I should mix them every so often for the sole fact of having some variety.

Dry can hit the girth is a very intense way, beyond what the wet can do. But...there is quite a learning curve with dry jelqing, wet is more quicker to learn. And dry jelqing can be a little uncomfortable on the skin until you become accustomed to it.

never had any discoloration probs with dry or wet jelqing and I guess least people will have. DLD seems to be an exception here (as in so many other respects;-) So, don't worry just try both variations and decide which suits you better in terms of expansion, comfort etc. But discoloration will most likely not be a problem either way.

ok mate thanks im just trying to be carefull ya know, i want to make sure i prevent stuff like this happening before it happens, i dont wana be taking time off to recover from an inury or something. ive been reading that its best to do firegoat rolls after every p.e session to keep discolouration under control anyway so im guna do that n hopefully ill never get it thnx

I found that I got no discoloration with dry jelqing opposed to wet jelqing where I got lots of temporary discoloration. Right after I started dry jelqing all the temporary discoloration faded very quickly. I guess everyone is different.
