I apologize in advance for this question if it is dumb but after watching some of the videos, what does the twisting do and what purpose does it serve? I could not find the answer to this but if someone could explain it or direct me to the appropriate thread it would be appreciated.

Twisting will complete a bundled stretch. Which is to break up the tunica and allow the gains to start happening.

Yes. Before a routine short, intense bundled stretches should be done for 5-15 minutes. This should be done before each routine.

I can see where it would break down something, looks intense. I am sure I will need to take it easy at first
