It is generally called the PC muscle short for Pubococcygeus Muscle. It is found on the pelvic floor muscles from the pubic bone to the tail bone. Men and women both have a PC muscle. The stronger it is for a woman it tightens their vagina and for a man it strengthens their erection. For both sexes a strong PC muscle prevents urinary tract infections. To flex this muscle, next time you are going pee, stop the flow of urine, this is a Kegel. To push the flow of urine back out is a Reverse Kegel.

Stopping the flow of urine = Kegel
Pushing the flow of urine = Reverse Kegel
