There is a special documentary about the beginning of the universe and the beginning of the earth. Its called "Origins". Its a 2-part (2 hrs each) special on PBS thats on from 7-9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hopefully all those bible thumpers can learn something, because I know I will.
 
So why the attack on Christians? Was that necessary at all? I'm wondering why you're even on this board. It seems like your only purpose is to try to stir up trouble. You're definitely not here for the Penis Enlargement. I looked through all of your posts and found only 4 that are even remotely Penis Enlargement-related, and one of them just says "ditto stillwantmore." I'd say 95% of your posts are all either in political threads, or religious threads, or adult entertainment. In your political and religious-related posts, you are nearly always confrontational. It seems to me that ou just enjoy pissing people off, and that is your sole purpose in being here. Watch your step.
 
I think he is just a very strong atheist or how ever it is spelled. I have a friend like that and we argue about it all the time.

Either way, science will only take you so far, sooner or later you are just going to have to admit there is something else out there. Along the lines of a god or some kind of religion.

I found the last part of his post offensive and I am sure others will as well.
 
It's one thing to be an atheist. It's completely different to be so confrontational and to try to stir stuff up constantly. If he were a Christian and was constantly confrontational about his Christian beliefs I would have called him out on that as well. The only thing he accomplishes is to piss people off.

I'd rather watch CNN looking for praise of republicans than watch PBS for their "scientific" (meaning only atheistic professor input) approach on the universe.

The universe can't be infinite as stated in the first 2 laws of thermodynamics. Nothing is infinite within the realm of science. It is all limited, and therefor all had a beginning point. Anything limited has a starting point and ending point (like the universe), and could only come from something that is unlimited without a beginning or an end. Possibly the alpha and the omega, who was and always will be.

I mean that paragraph right there is the simple logic anyone can understand that there has to be SOMETHING unlimited, all powerful, and always was/will be. Considering the make-up of the universe and everything in it, intelligent design is implied. Add that with the previous inferences, and you got God.

Out of all the gods, the one the Bible speaks of the is most believable IMO because the Bible has yet to be proven false, as a historical document or otherwise.

There is only One God, and he is spoken of in the Bible as Jehova, in the Quran as Allah, and in the Bhagavad Gita as Krishna. Many faces of One God, who has unlimited names. One text may appeal more to a particular person, but we are all worshipping the same Supreme Person.
 
Sorry for the repost, just wanted to add that they are all yet to be proven false, as a historical document or otherwise. I don't know that much about the Quran though, personally.

The historicity of the Bible is proven, not sure about the other ones. Mormonism is a joke, one of the biggest, no offense.

There are many conflicting things in the different religious books. It is possible for them all to be false, but not possible for them all to be true. This I can say with certainty.
 
The historicity of Bhagavad Gita, and I think the Quran are also proven. They all share many main points, like simply surrender to God, do not kill, ect. The main idea just noted is the same, and that is what matters. Mormonism was man-made... I mentioned the main scriptures.

Personally I believe in the Judeo-Christian God, but I am sure many other books that borrow from Bible are at least partially valid, maybe even ones that dont borrow from Bible.

I dont post much about Penis Enlargement b/c frankly, there are more experienced members who start much more informative threads. What can I say that everybody dosent already know? I dont think anybody cares about my routine or my stats. But if it makes you happy, 7.1 el, and 5.2 eg. I dont have a bone-pressed length b/c I see it as pointless, and also I dont have much fat anyways.

Good point, God and religion aren't the same thing, and there can only be one God. You can be completely surrendered to God without religion, but you have to first learn how. (which you cannot learn on your own through mental speculation)

I never said you claimed not to believe in God. I never called you a godless infidel. I believe the general idea was that I was calling you a prick that is only on this board to stir up trouble.

And I agree with your statement about religion to a certain extent. As sephin pointed out, the different religions, while on some points very similar, contradict each other on some major points. They cannot all be right. Someone might quote the Eastern philosophy that you shouldn't think in the "either/or" mentality, but in the "both are possible" mentality. But as Ravi Zacharias put it, "are you telling me that either I have to accept both, or nothing at all?" :D

On the other hand, religion when taken too far, has in the past resulted in crusades, burnings at the stake, etc. But just because a few religious fanatics did some stupid stuff that shoulfn't have been done doesn't mean that every person that subscribes to a religion is that way. Any belief can be taken too far, whether it be religious, political, philosophical, or whatever. Like the proverbial existentialist that walked in front of a bus because he didn't believe it was really there. :D

Everything here is nothing but extreme leftist propaganda or atheism. With the atheism thing in particular, nothing is ever said without the most imflamatory tone behind it. If this guy put half the energy into Penis Enlargement that he does in getting under skin here and making offensive statements, he'd be tripping over his cock. He did this same shit as NeXus, Supra appropriately banned him, and now he's been here as Casey ever since, unable to resist the shit-stirring urge within him.
