Spring Tension

Hey Brothers,

- < 250 hours, in the green zone during the day and at night
- 250 - 750 hours, yellow zone in the day, green at night
- 750 - 1000 hours, red zone in the day, yellow zone at night

Now for future reference...do you think it would be possible to replace the internal springs with another which will give greater Forces at comparable distances? This would just be Hooke's Law in action...just gotta buy a spring w/ the same diameter, but greater spring constant. My only concern would be the vacuum suction...do you think it would be enough for tensions higher than ~6.5lbs? (Red zone)

I have experimented with mine while hanging and it works great up to about 5 pounds but when I moved the weight up to 10, the suction started letting go. That was using the condom sleeves that come with the PF. It may possibly work if we can come up with a silicone sleeve to replace the condom sleeve.

And we are doing all we can to make these sleeves, it is a long and arduous process but we will not stop until we find a solution.

The sleeve I have been testing for Bandit has been excellent so far, it is possible that we may have a winner on the sleeves.
