Anyone with bib hanger hang 25+ lbs figured things out? Do you hang pretty far back? Are you toe out by a considerable amount; how far do you do the gap on the bottom?

You may need to try more wrap. If you're having slipping at higher weights, your hanger hasn't been tight enough from day one. You ever seen my how to video for the BIB hanger? Are you using a gel lined model? Those are bad about slipping and twisting at weights over about 18lbs.

I am using the hardcore. I tighten it as far as it can possibly go so I don't feel it's that. Doesn't more wrap lead to more slippage?

No, more wrap increases your girth. How are you wrapping and what exactly do you use for your wrapping material/s? Are you able to tighten your hanger more after you hang for a few minutes? Here's a newer example of applying a similar style hanger.

I use t-shirt then [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]Ace[/words] on top.

Yes, I am able to tighten more after weight is put on and I continually tighten throughout the set.

Thanks for the video. When you take 3 minutes to tighten, doesn't that reduce your total set to 17 minutes?

Yes, give or take a couple minutes ;) In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. What matters more is a quality stretch for at least 15 minutes at a time and you get that with a better fitting hanger. Keep experimenting with your wrapping and getting that hanger as tight as possible. Get it as tight as you can before you hang. Hang a few minutes, remove the weight, tighten some more and then, hang some more.

Thanks, I'm going to try a thicker wrap. When I started out, I did a thick wrap. It worked for a bit, but I got an injury, so I thought a minimal wrap would be best. It had been working for a bit, but once I tried to adjust the lower gap and also more toe out, it's been more comfortable overall during the hang, but slippage is an issue.

Wrapping correctly is very important. The biggest thing that I learned when wrapping is to be sure the wrap, no matter how many layers, was smooth and without a wrinkle...wrinkles mean pain and pinching. I still use Stillwantmores wrap from the hanging tutorial, one of the best out there.

Thanks DLD.

Thank you, if it was not for your thread on wrapping properly I would have never been able to hang the weight I can. Before I employed your technique I could barely hang 10 pounds without pinching and pain but after taking an afternoon to master your wrapping style I never had pinching again. It is also a great way to wrap for the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]LengthMaster[/words].

I use a Bib Starter and in the past I got up to about 22 lbs. What I realized was that yes, when the weight goes up, you have to attach further back. At the lower weights it is okay to be closer to the glans, but when you start getting heavier there is going to be so much of a pull that you have to start further back. Try to attach 1 or 2 inches further towards the base than you used to, and you will see that it will slide to the proper spot and give you more tension on the ligs.

Let's also mention that with the BIB hangers, twisting problems with the gel liner as well as pressure point problems get worse and worse the heavier in weight you go.

I think a lot of Brothers overlook the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]LengthMaster[/words] as not being a hanger but it is a great way to hang weight and has a very unique way of distributing the weight equally. With it's wide body it causes not twisting, and since the body is wide it allows you to add extra manual force while hanging the weight.

Here is how I am wrapping now. The comfort is incredible. I use a silicone sleeve. Sports pre wrap and [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ACE bandage[/words]. You should probably use self adhesive [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] also if you are using a bib or mh that don't have great grip. This is the most comfortable wrap I have used.

Absolutely. It's style is the best compression style hanger in my opinion. And there is absolutely no worry when it comes to slippage.

I suggest seeing what you can tolerate and go from there. From my experience, all devices grip different and affect the perception of the weight.

i see maybe should start whit one flange and see how it goes, increasing weight can be a not too fast process..

Always start out light and slowly but progressively add weight. Once at the point of being able to go 20 minutes with your maximum weight you have found the sweet spot. From here continue to add weight as able. But Still is correct, every advice will be different so keep that in mind.
